Good grief. The overreactions in this thread are legitimately hilarious.
It's ONE game, in early November which will have zero impact on who wins the 2024 NBA title.
-We were missing one of our best players.
-We were playing on the road
-We were playing against a good team, with the #1 ranked defense...they had all of their guys healthy and available to play
-Wolves were coming off 2 blowout wins - one of them was over the defending champs Nuggets. That was the Nuggets only loss on the season
All of that and we barely lost. Wolves played about as well as they can possibly play and still needed OT to beat us.
On to the next one.
Newsflash: the Nuggets last season went 53-29 in the regular season. The year before that, the warriors went 53-29 in the regular season. Guess what? Both of those teams won the NBA title. They both lost 29 reg season games. That's a lot! It's gonna be a long, very disappointing season if ya'll freak out like this after each loss.
For my sanity, I'll probably just avoid this place after losses lol - it's way too toxic, dramatic and reactionary.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything
