Jayson Tatum to the Suns almost happened too lol. Wasn't Ainge looking at Josh Jackson with the 3rd pick but Jackson canceled his pre-draft workout with the Cs?

Here's the Celtics net rating past two seasons when JT is ON the floor and Al/JB/White OFF:
2022-23: 605 possessions, +14.2
2023-24: 695 possessions, +15.2

This season, I'm hoping they give Queta and Scheierman some real RS minutes even if it's just mostly against second units. Jrue/Hauser/Scheierman/Tatum/Queta is one grouping I think can thrive on both ends.

(PP/White/JB/Tillman/Horford is gonna be fun too!)

Based on my shoddy research, Jayson Tatum is the youngest 1st Team All-NBA awardee who's won a title since Kobe Bryant in 2002.

Took a quick look at this because there's this narrative that Tatum really dropped off in the 2nd half of the year. That is true, but only in one shooting category - the midrange. See here:

I'm looking at the 3pt numbers with skepticism.

For 3pt%, it was post-AS > pre-AS > playoffs. When combining post-AS and playoffs, it was about the same as pre-AS
