I’ll say Celtics in 5.
Can see us drop one of the first two as a wake up.

I expect a good series, multiple games coming down to the wire, and a gentleman's sweep.

I expect 3 of 4 games to be close with one blowout for us. Boston in 4.
I really wish I knew what to expect out of Brown, however. I expect he will be playing whether healthy or not. I have no idea about his type of injury and the healing process and time it takes. Will he struggle and still force the issues? His game is so based on aggressiveness and athleticism and if that is affected by his injury will he know how to "tone it down"?

Wanted to post this here as well. A much as I love PP and as much as everyone else loves Kornet, I trust Sam Hauser the most of those 3 come playoffs. Sam is the best 2-way switchable player with no defensive weaknesses. Unlike PP and Kornet. Hope he gets the call when it counts the most of those 3. Yet I really have no idea if he will.

There are two big differences between last year's postseason Celtics and this year- Brown's health, and plentiful centers. Both lead to the same conclusion, which is that there will be more double bigs for Boston this time around.
Last year there were times when there were zero-big lineups.
Porzingis was hobbled or out. The same with Kornet, who suffered a calf injury in the Miami series. Tillman filled in a little. Horford somehow held down the position himself.
The more physically tenuous Brown is, the more other guys will play. Maybe more Hauser. Maybe some Craig. Maybe there will be an opportunity for Scheierman. Definitely they'll play double bigs.

this is the playoffs, time to shorten the rotation....Only time you'll see Craig or Scheirman is during Gino time.... Hauser depends on his defense and shooting. Time for a banner 19 run JT, JB, White, Jrue, Zinger, Al, PP ( Korny, Hauser maybe ) will see the bulk of the run PP being the lowest of the group as he will be a liability defensively. He'll get picked on from here on out when he's on the court. Playoffs are a different animal.

Paolo is just excited to be in the playoffs.
“I’ve known Jayson since I was going into college,” Banchero told reporters in Orlando. “I see him every summer. A guy that I’m very familiar with. One of the guys I go to for advice and stuff like that. Obviously, now, we’re competing. The best way for me to show my respect is to give him my best effort and go at him as much as I can. I’m excited for the matchup and I’m just excited to be in the playoffs in general.”

Little known fact sharp shooter Mo Wagner had the third best three point shooting percentage on the team.
They’ll miss his floor spacing big time imo.

No guarantee that both OKC and BOS reach the Finals, but if they do, this defense-intense series vs. the Magic would be good prep for what’s to come.

Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while but will be more active during the playoffs. The Magic will be good practice before potentially facing longer/physical teams later in the playoffs like Cle and OKC. I think we'll drop a game, but shouldn't have too much problem going through, the Magic offense is pretty horrible.
I am usually pretty positive on here but I have this nagging feeling that all the extra basketball they played will catch up to them and we won't be able to get Banner 19 this season so I need some sound arguments to talk me off the ledge. I still think we get it soon, but I just don't have the best vibes for this season for some reason

My heart wants a 6 game series, but I expect BOS to take care of business in 5, maybe even 4 against ORL. Hoping ORL can keep it close for most of the games and Paolo and Franz play well.

I think y'all are gonna sweep the Magic. What can Orlando hang their hat on ? Defense. What does BOS do exquisitely ? Top-5 Off/Def in the NBA, experience, overall talent.
I'm pretty confident that this series will have close moments but the Magic are just not quite equipped to come back if they are down 15 points.

via @taylorcsnow:
"The Celtics have averaged fewer than 12.0 turnovers per game twice in franchise history.
This year – 11.87
Last year – 11.94"
Pretty cool. I think we average about 2-3 more turnovers per game vs. the Magic. Our turnovers vs.ORL in losses since last season -- 14, 18, 15. In the wins, it's 10, 14, 10.

Haven't seen this yet. So if there's actual XXX porn on here and not just Celtics porn, I shouldn't be held accountable.

the first HALF of this is just JT slander
Al doesn't make an appearance until over 3 minutes in, but it DOES end with him staring off into space, so thumbs up for that

After last year's title, there was that Loooong summer. Then the Regular season started. It quelled my appetite a Bit. But it soon became apparent. The regular season was far less important than the previous seasons due to finally getting over the Hump. So, all the Ups and downs, Broken Records, sometimes very inspired BB with some of the most dreadful games I can remember. It is finally over. And the REAL Season is about to Begin.
I can't speak for most fans. Some would see this season as a success regardless of Titles. Not me. I want only one thing. Anything less is Failure.
And the only thing that matters is just over 28 hours away.

yup. Which Celtics made All-NBA in 1976? How many games did the 1981 Celtics win? How were they on the road in 1985? How many players averaged new career highs in scoring in 1986? What was their defensive rating like after the ASG in 1987?
We all know the answers to these questions don't matter.
We all (hopefully!) know which of those years are in the rafters though.
