Tatum can't change who he is. And Brown is just as likely to give you 10 turnovers inside the paint as he is to score 10 buckets.
I don't expect him to drive like SGA or Mitchell......I agree that's not his game. Tatum is a mid range scorer......the problem is that mid range scorers aren't glorified in today's game. Kids aren't emulating Kawhi Leonard on the playground.
Tatum is not a mid range scorer. He rarely takes them now. He doesn’t know what to do inside the arc. If he does, he wouldn’t looked lost on that last play.
He's made himself into a dribble and crossover 3 point shooter. In his early career......he was effective at the mid range and attempting them with a good volume. Now we rarely see it. I would love to see him do more of it especially when he gets a mismatch in the switch.
