Sure they can do it here and there but you've wasted 10 years of you came out of this thinking they were anything but jump shooters.

Tatum can't change who he is. And Brown is just as likely to give you 10 turnovers inside the paint as he is to score 10 buckets.

I don't expect him to drive like SGA or Mitchell......I agree that's not his game. Tatum is a mid range scorer......the problem is that mid range scorers aren't glorified in today's game. Kids aren't emulating Kawhi Leonard on the playground.

Tatum is not a mid range scorer. He rarely takes them now. He doesn’t know what to do inside the arc. If he does, he wouldn’t looked lost on that last play.

He's made himself into a dribble and crossover 3 point shooter. In his early career......he was effective at the mid range and attempting them with a good volume. Now we rarely see it. I would love to see him do more of it especially when he gets a mismatch in the switch.

I know some fans here live to cry about the refs, but can we skip the part where we blame the refs if and when we end up losing this series? The Nix deserve some homecooking after getting this to their house up 2-0 and we only have a 7% chance of winning 4 of the next 5 anyway so regardless we lost this series when we historically blew two 20 point leads and there are no other external factors we should be placing the blame on.

You rarely see it because if he's gonna take those shots he might as well step back a foot and go for a 3.

I don't think anyone thinks that's a bad move.

The problem is he's never developed a inside game in his NBA career. He drives, he aimlessly throws the ball, he yells where's the whistle.

Rinse and repeat.

He has no inside game.

Boston is clearly shook and has no idea what to do when their 3s don't fall. I expect MSG to be loud and the Knicks players to be hyped. I said before GM2 that if Boston loses we are looking at a Pacers/NY ECF. No reason for me to think otherwise at this point and this is a flashback to 2023 against Miami when they got down 0-3 to an inferior team.

Unfortunately for us, we don’t play that well at home. :(

We would be the only complete clowns left in the playoffs if we lose game 3. Every other series is at least a series. No pressure though.

JT won't change his game. OG really bothering him on defense as he is stronger and pushes JT at will, so JT settles for bad 3s
JB should get more credit. When he plays bully ball, he can take anyone from NY to the basket (and he's done it in game 2 - just stoped for some reason). Just stop taking those 3s

I would love the team to play faster and attack before NY settles, but this is wishful thinking as we are not built for this kind of BBall

I really need them to win this game. After GM2 I was so mad, like it effectively ruined my whole day. It shouldn't but did.

Really disappointed with Tatum in Games 1 and 2.

But maybe JT is just not that hungry anymore.

Will it surprise you guys if Tatum folds and tells himself, "the hell with this, let's go home early".

First you ask what if JT wakes up and now you’re asking what if he folds?

Honestly, I can definitely admit that I am a critical sob?

IMO, the mere fact you’re asking those two questions should answer these two questions?

Do MVP winners put themselves in those two scenarios?

Will Jayson Tatum ever win an MVP?

Just win the next two and make this interesting. I’m still overly confident we’ll get this series to 2-2.
156-1 Celtics are frauds when pressure is put on them. They would have been toast if Luka was not stupid enough to foul himself out. Enjoy this ONE finals win. There will never be another with the Js and the Celtics cant afford stacked team.
Denver would mop the floor with us. At least this current version of the Celtics. Last years had a chance..this shambles **** we are watching has no shot. This team needs to get it’s **** together real quick or Cancun is coming up real fast.

By the way, I'm out here wondering, why haven't we hired Paul to mentor Brown and Tatum and even help them with their game? Dribble, decision making, etc. He always had that killer mentality. Heck, both LBJ and Kobe at one point called him their biggest rival... We need that edge. And again, Pierce is still him and he's one of the best wings we've ever had, since watching the Celtics I knew if we're in a tough game, even if we lose, Pierce will put his money where his mouth is. That's why I don't consider Tatum to be on Paul's level as of right now.

Last year, we would've stomped Denver.
This year, we're somewhat injured and not as motivated.

PnR switch, take KAT or Brunson to the basket, if they double- pass.

The refs have allowed physical playoffs overall. I guess that's the agenda right now. We need to level to this physicality. We can't hide from it.

JT on Brunson was a debacle of long midrange fade away jumpers
NY is doing good job of keeping OG on JT, they jump him and he hesitates and OG stays on him

There are other ways to overcome it, JT just need to play faster and with force and determination

Only team to not win a game thus far. Getting swept by this Knicks teams and someone should be fired. Tatum deserves all the heat coming to him. This knicks team is not better than us.

I will be shocked if they don’t show up today.

Tatum is not MVP, so maybe that gives him the right to fold.

This guy always picks the wrong time to have an illness.
