If you had asked me before the playoffs started if we could beat NY in a series without JT I honestly would have been pretty confident based on how the regular season went. Obviously it's a different story with how we've looked lately, but I don't think it's totally outside the realm of possibility that we get hot for 3 games, play great defense, and NY turns back into the Knicks. You never know. Let's go Cs!

If Jaylen Brown tries to step up and be the man in Tatum's absence the Celtics will get blown out. We've seen that scenario before.

If you want to use Brown properly and win the game, tell him to forget about offense and put him on Brunson for 48 minutes. Mano a mano.

To start the season, our three best players were Tatum, Brown and KP at least according to the consensus general media and now Tatum is seriously injured, Brown is playing hurt and a playing some of his worst ball of his career, and Softzingis looks like a poor man's Shawn Bradley. We're done unless White/Pritchard both go off tonight.

This game is a big time game for Jaylen Brown. He played terribly in the game 7 against Miami when Tatum got hurt. Whether it's for the Celtics next year, or for a trade this year, I'd like to see a great game from Brown.

Yes we have seen it before, Orlando Game 2. 36 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists on 12-19 shooting. This forum is the worse.

I am very disappointed that our chances to win this series, let alone #19, are less than beyond abysmal.

If JB blasts off & keeps his TOVs to <6 or 7, it will increase his trade value even further.

I was so so so profoundly angry & dismayed when KG went down in 2/2009 ending our 90% chance to repeat in 6/2009.
And even more so when we **** up Finals G7 VS Kobe & the Fakers in 6/2010.
The three peat was right there for the taking in 6/2009 for Truth & Ticket.
Still pissed whenever I think about it.

Today, I am strangely calm & prepared if necessary for the tragic & hugely premature end to our 24-25 season & very likely our 25-26 season (unless JT makes a miraculously rapid recovery & returns even better [under Truth’s tutelage during his rehab] & rejoins a refurbished team in 2/2026 [having traded Brown & Zinger for a GREAT package that some dumb ass GM would give us] mentored by a REAL mother **** coach).

In other circumstances, Tony Brothers would crush our souls, but I expect him and his crew to stop giving Brunson the LeBroid treatment. It might not be enough tot beat Thibs and his players, but I'm thinking about staying up late to watch a game that could be special.

JT's injury brought KG's knee memories, but this time I see him winning at least another one as a Celtic.
