Wont happen tonight. If the Finals end, would expect it to get hot and heavy by the weekend. If not, expecting it on Monday or Tuesday.

NBA trying to have a blackout during the finals with news is silly.

If a trade can disrupt your finals views or distract from them then it says way more about the product than anything.

Zero celtics leaks, even from supposed insiders here is the real concern people should have. I atleast think we should know the parameters by now

Highly unlikely, but I would consider putting Tatum in the deal if the Pelicans put a little sweetener in the deal. Like the option to swap first round picks next year. Basically an insurance policy just in case AD leaves Boston high and dry.

This is what tells me that theyre not going to deal with LA, period. The second Rich Paul or LeBron found out that Kuzma is holding up a deal, they’d force it through on the Lakers end.

It’s just laughable that kuzma who is a nice young player but we know what he is and the type of playe he is are all over the league is gonna be the deal breaker in a blockbuster trade when lakers have so much on the line

At this point in time I do not see treasure trove of assets? I could see many teams offering much better offers than the Celtics. We just got done stinking up the court seems like couple times a week on national TV. Who in their right mind wants our players for a top 5 guy? Lakers have nothing. Last two teams in league I would want players from. I like Brown and Smart but Smart is kind of idiot. Not sure Brown loves Basketball. Tatum many say will not improve much? Why would you trade AD for any of those guys that team was an embarrassment to Boston and the NBA weekly on national TV? Yep those are some guys I really want to trade for. Sure Smart tries hard. Brown has upside.

I would imagine kuzma either starts at the 4 for them or is trade bait to get a 3rd star. That's why I wasn't concerned with the original magic offers when the trade demand first came out. All their young players and several picks emptied their cache completely, they would have had nothing left to add anything meaningful to their team. In all honesty, Pels probably should have taken the deal and run.

It can only be good IMO. Can't remember the last time a deal was struck after names have been thrown around in the media for days. If names are out there it's either getting done in a matter of hours which it didn't or someone is using them to leverage someone else.

Celtics adding Tatum means the trade is done. Lakers can't touch that kind of offer. Unless they include Lebron
