I wanna believe the Bucks will steal one from the Cavs but we all know they’re just gonna pull away at some point.

Cavs are freaking legit. We can’t fool around against them. Plus they have home court.

The Cavs are what the kids call "inevitable." Everyone on that team knows where to be and what to do when. They haven't been challenged much in the regular season apart from maybe a two-week "slump". The question that remains is if this consistency and cohesiveness will translate deep into the playoffs. They've also been one of the healthiest teams this season which doesn't hurt. I don't see anyone in the East other than the Celtics that can take them down tbh.

If they gave him a contract after the summer I would have liked that move, but after the 1st half of the season playing alot without KP, Sam missing a bunch of games and the team being inconsistent, but still maintaining the 2nd seed the whole time I'm glad they didn't bring him in after the AS break. He wasn't going to play as much as he is now with Philly and I believe that would have been an issue with him. I wouldn't be surprised if there were talks between his camp and the C's and they wanted some assurance that he was going to play. A team option next season is perfect for him in Philly because he's going to play. His numbers will get better because he's gonna get 25+ minutes a night. NO WAY that was happening in Boston. No Way. I bet any deal with Boston would have had to have a guaranteed salary in 25/26, not a team option like Philly.

Philly has 3 team options next year. Edwards looks like a keeper and Walker and Butler may be battling it out for that team option decision.

Story on Giannis shooting more jumpers to hopefully extend his career, and developing an effective midrange shot because he sucks from 3. Rather long just to say that, but there are Celtic connections:

Coach who told him to do this: Doc Rivers
Assistant coach he took to Greece with him to work on this: Vin Baker
Consultant he also took to Greece: Drew Hanlen

Well, Denver beat OKC.

Maybe Denver had enough and didn't care if it's OKC, UFC, or KFC.

It'll be easy as pie if we're healthy.

Not really. Our team has this tendencies to lose big leads. Both losses to the cavs we were up big, and mitchell goes off, and we can’t do **** to stop him. We can beat them definitely, but if we fool around. If Joe tries to be cute with the rotations, then that will be grind out series.

Trivia -- who was the smallest/lightest guy to line up at nose tackle for the Patriots in the Bill Belichick era?

(It's a semi-trick question, in that he only played the position for one game, but it was indeed for the whole game.)

Hint: It was the same playoff game that Ty Law and Rodney Harrison exchanged positions. Ty Law and Marvin Harrison caught the same number of Peyton Manning passes that game (3 each).

Nice Ryan Gomes story.

A friend of his died of sudden cardiac arrest, so his preferred charitable mission is to donate the kind of defibrillator that lets people save athletes who collapse like that. He estimates he's saved three young lives so far.

Impressive the Cavs, even without Mitchell, are blowing out a fully healthy Memphis team at Memphis. Such a well-coached team.

Balanced team with a good offense. We, on the other hand, rely too much on the 3ball. If we make half, we blow teams out. If we struggle with shooting, even scrub teams can beat us. Cavs have really good shooters, but they attack the basket just as well. Mitchell is better on offense than JT. You can’t leave him wide open from 3, and has a good mid range. Plus he can dribble. He can attack the basket, and just stop for a mid range or do a floater. It will be hard for us to beat them without KP. Horford, kornet and Queta can’t guard their bigs inside. Horf can defend the perimeter, but is not a rim protector anymore. Without KP. Guys like Mobley and Holmgren would have a feast inside scoring and rebounding.
