Great song, and awesome version. My buddy in high school & I actually taped this whole riverboat show off MTV on his VCR back in the day. Then we rigged up some Rube Goldberg monstrosity to get the sound from that onto cassettes to listen to on our 400 lb walkmans. :D Now, I type "Stevie Ray Ain..." in a browser and it just shows up.

Agree on Sky Is Crying. Even though it's the posthumous compilation, it's the most consistent. Texas Flood and In Step are up there, tho.

One more random SRV story. I grew up in CT but went to University of Iowa for some reason.... May of freshman year, I bought tix with some buddies to go see Stevie in Alpine Valley, WI that fall. Go home for the summer and get back in the fall and they all bailed on me. I had to scramble to find 2 new dudes to go, bribe the crap out of another one to bum a car for the drive, and scalp the 4th ticket when I got there. The show was amazing. Robert Cray, SRV, Clapton and tons of guests like Buddy Guy, Jimmie Vaughan, etc during the encore. Ended up sleeping in the car & driving back the next day. By the time I woke up the following morning, Stevie had died in the helicopter crash. I ended up seeing his 2nd to last show and never letting my lame *** friends forget about it!

Legion. Created by Noah Hawley, same guy who does Fargo. Looking like a banger! Wonder why Netflix didn't pick it up.

Weird show. Wasn't what I thought it would be. First Marvel comic I've seen with a group dance number. Last 10 minutes kinda saved it for me though. I do hope that they find a way to loop at least an inference to Xavier. Singer is producing. Would it be so hard to suggest this takes place in the same universe as his previous movies?

Went and Watched LaLa Land today so I have seen all the nominees. It was an enjoyable movie. Not sure how it's supposed to be sweeping Awards though. Not as powerful as either Moonlight, MBTS or Fences for me.

La La Land was fun but hugely overrated, people just liked having a musical. A little anti-septic, and only works if you assume that was the point.

Legion is interesting- they're deliberately trying to keep it separate from rest of the universe, not sure why

VG rec: 'For Honor' - they invented a totally new gameplay mechanic, which never happens, and it's fun. It's sort of like Punch Out with swords.

Possible. The last 10 minutes was the best part. I think it'll start slow then really start to pick up around the 4th, 5th episode.

I've just binge-watched the three "Department Q" movies. Much like every Scandinavian movie I've watched in the last few years ("Let the Right One In," "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" trilogy, "The Hunt," "The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared," maybe others) this is seriously good stuff.

Guess this kinda counts as art? Just wanted an excuse to share my 2k Celts re-design, wouldn't want it to happen in real life just fun to mix things up in the game

Plea for help -- an ex-girlfriend used to listen to this French album back in like 1999/2000 time frame that was pretty good and sort of like Air. They have a female singer, and it was sort of mellow electronic/acoustic music. Very Sunday morning while you drink your coffee type music.

I'm trying to remember the name of the band but can't... if anyone knows it or has a thought please DM me or post here!

Superbowl comeback and now this Oscars comeback. I don't see many movies but I saw Moonlight a few weeks ago and it was incredible.

Went and saw Animals as Leaders live last night. Crazy stuff, three piece instrumental metal band, both guitarists play 8 string guitars with basically some bass guitar strings added and do a lot of percussive tapping/plucking sort of stuff. Pretty heavy and obviously an acquired taste though. A few of their tracks below.

That ending was crazy. Well deserved win. That and Manchester By The Sea were great.

I enjoyed Santa Clarita Diet and don't know what's going on in Legion. You Me Her is fun.

Santa Clarita was great once you got by the intentionally corny acting.

Moonlight was so effing good. Still take Fences first. However, both were amazing.
