how much is a d-leaguer and a late first round pick three years from now worth? have to agree that your number is getting blocked unless you're trading for Anthony Bennett haha.

The Memohis pick should be good. Won't be able to trade it for value until Memphis start missing the playoffs though. Can't get Noel or Okafor of course but I think it'll be a top 10 pick eventually

Yeah top 10 in 2021, but only DA trades for assets 5 years down the road.

I think a lot of these guys will be happy if they have a job in 5 years.

In short. Yes. Why? Because they desperately want to keep Wade, although the best move is to let him go. If they do that there is no draw to playing in Miami and they are amongst the most bandwagon fans there are.

So yes, they NEED Wade more than he needs them. Put it this way, I don't think Al Horford would have told his Daddy the same about the fans in Miami as he did about us.

There is zero chance that the heat give up Winslow to re-sign a hobbling, geriatric Wade. No chance in hell.

Who puts butts in seats in Miami? Winslow or Wade? Never understimate that factor.

We are getting rid of the greys?

Maybe we are going to be the second team to add a logo to our jerseys?

Perhaps Sully finally ate Rozier?

The team has traded all of its assets and players for 17 draft picks in next years draft. Why? Because eight is not enough.

Why would they word it as if it's a surprise if they're talking about Horford...I'll jump on the Wyc is a huge asshat bandwagon if that's what it is

Forsberg added in his tweet about the announcement "remember, teams can't mention player by name until officially signed"

So, they can't say "Horford intro press conference" since he hasn't signed yet. I could be wrong.

Agreed. If it was the Horford signing they would have worded it as 'Celtics introduce Horford'.

Major team announcement is way too general and could mean facilities stuff, personnel stuff, or maybe player related.

Could have said "free agency signings" or something like that, dickheads

Horford could have signed today, so not sure what's going on. They have until midnight on Jonas and Amir and we've heard nothing yet. Could be something.

Also said "I think we're not done" when asked about the opening night roster

Always good when you're on the same page as the Gm

I do think we need a counter for the O Rebs of Drummond, Thompson etc come playoff time

Can't figure what shooters they are looking at. Also a ton of centers have come and gone so not sure who that would be either.

Stronger center? Shooting? So if Sully and Zeller and JJ go, we're about 16 million under the cap. Crabbe is still out there. Nurkic would be a strong defensive 5, Asik, too..

I would love Nurkic. I liked him a lot pre draft and he had a solid rookie year. Brings some rebounding/defense that we could use plus he's real young. Can him and denvers other center (spacing on his name jokic or something) play together or do they have a philly situation there as well?

I'd also love Willie Caulie Stien if he becomes available with Sacramentos 5 centers. Kofus could get acquired for cheep too I think, he'd be a good backup C and I think he's on an expiring.
