Who says he didn't train with Pierce in the offseason?

Sit Tatum so we can say we would have won if Tatum didn’t go down.

It looks awful, but I like it. Fits the theme of the season. Worry less about how things look and focus on winning.

These games are meaningless. It is crazy NBA players play in them. Sure it is great to build your brand but it you want to win NBA championship it is no place for your players. I loved watching the game don't get me wrong. It is great to watch well played basketball.

Is what it is, I could see if you're a championship contender, but sending young guys when we aren't doesn't seem like a big deal. Injuries can happen during drew league or practice, sucks to see that happen but, I don't think it was a mistake to let them play.
I think we could win it all this year. So I think it is mistake.

I believe the Twitter doctor. Tatum will lead Team USA to the CHAMPIONSHIPS! Then Celtics to more CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Jaylen not getting back in the game for the entire 2nd half/OT, yikes.

The game would not have gone to overtime if he was out there.

Won't matter, Japan is a bottom 5 team in this world cup.

Pop got outcoached. The 3-2 zone, the way the Turks played on offense, it was better than USA. They got out by the skin of their teeth.

And what's with our transition defense?

Yep. The worst team we'll face. I expect a big blowout.

But this was pretty bad. Defensively USA looks extremely vulnerable.

Normally I’d want us to immediately pull Tatum from competition but since we aren’t contenders I’d kinda like to see him continue on an get that Team USA experience if it isn’t too serious.

True. Repeating myself but when Turkey slapped that 3-2 zone, for the most part the guys looked clueless and dribbled out the clock or turned it over(or took a bad shot) on many occasions.
Good assessment:

Sucks Tatum rolled an ankle. How he plays in the next game or the one after that.

https://www.usab.com/mens/national-team/wc-schedule.aspx
The top two teams from each first round group advance to the second round, where advancing teams from Groups A and B form Group I, teams from C and D form Group J, teams from E and F form Group K and teams from G and H form Group L.

The bottom two teams from each first round group will be relegated to the classification round for places 17-32.

It looks like USA & Turkey will advance, and join with Brazil & Greece, to form Group K.
Plot Thickens.
