Sure, but it was a block, even through my green glasses

The more egregious call was the one before with the "hostile action". You can't stop play to determine if a hostile action has taken place without calling a foul. The refs broke the rules there, just to keep Giannis in the game.

I agree. That was mind boggling.

I told y'all. Bad s**t happens when Mike Breen calls our games. He's horrendous and he's bad luck.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

The officials weren't supposed to review that Giannis charge to see if it was block instead of a charge, only if the defender was in or out of the circle:

"Officials have determined that illegal contact has occurred on a block/charge foul but are not reasonably certain as to whether the defender was inside or out- side the restricted area during the last two minutes of the fourth period or last two minutes of any overtime period(s)."

Refs were bad, Giannis is a problem. Kemba took away my worries about his knee. Hayward and Smart were great, Brown battled and was fairly solid. Tatum stank in a way that would've been unfathomable before this game. Goodnight everyone.

Excellent first game to the start up of the new season. Celtics need to keep working hard in these seeding games. Keep working!!

I like where we're at. Except for Tatum. So all in all, good stuff for an opener. We knew this was gonna be a tough one. Didn't know Tatum was gonna be a no-show.

Where is AOS?
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Well we in no way deserved to win so I'm fine with this.

Let's go on to the next game against Portland. Should be a lot easier.
