I'd rather start Schroder and bring Smart off the bench. Reason is that Schroder can beat guys off the bounce, Smart can't. With Smart at the point, the ball just swings around the perimeter. That's always been true. Plus, Smart pairs better with PP than Schroder does.

I hear ya', but we need a guy on the second unit who can create and score at the same time. So many games last season, our second unit basically lost us big leads because no one could do anything.

Also, if you keep Smart as a starter, he's not likely to shoot away with reckless abandon.

I think PP can be the playmaker on the second unit. It's up to Ime to keep Smart under control.
