Can see Nesmith getting dealt to LAC for one of their shooters.

Given the acquisition of Richardson and Ime rarely playing Nesmith, I suspect Steven and Ime aren't high on Nesmith.

Don't see why LA Clippers would be sellers. Their owner has money coming out his ears and I believe OKC has their 1st round pick next year. No reason for the Clippers to sell off at the deadline in my opinion.

Going to need players for Kawhi and George next year to make a run.

With Terrance Mann, Brandon Boston and Keon Johnson, they'll look to move Kennard. Also, moving Morris helps them tank this year.

Why do they want to tank? OKC has their first round pick

They won't move Morris. They will need Morris next year with Kawhi and George.

Kennard might be moved because it's bad deal.

I still like Horford gong there with SChroder for Kennard and Bledsoe (EXP essentially) or Ibaka (Vet toughness)

Strong chance Kawhi is back this season increases the chances, imo.

Horford and Schroder to LAC
Ibaka and Nesmith to Brooklyn
Harris, Boston Jr and Bledsoe to boston, although Bledsoe only comes here on paper. He can just stay home until he is made non guaranteed and the 3 mill owing is stretched over 3 years.

I love all your trade ideas but they never feel like they 'hurt' in terms of players going out..makes me think the value might be off :-D

I don't know if it's true but it's from an article/podcast on Hoopshype where a couple guys are talking about trade rumors from every team.

"Scotto: The Boston Celtics have expressed interest in re-acquiring forward Jeff Green, league sources told HoopsHype. Green was coached by Brad Stevens in Boston. I’ve also heard former lottery pick Aaron Nesmith and guard Dennis Schroeder are also available in Boston. They’ve made several calls doing due diligence, including to Phoenix regarding Jalen Smith’s availability."

Ah missed that, but they still may want to move Morris.

I think they really are fine falling out of the playoffs and regrouping for next year," said one Western Conference official. "I think they're trying to shed the Marcus Morrises of the world, guys that have some value and maybe can replace them with younger talent, maybe cheaper [contracts], to free them to get someone else this summer."

Dallas might run the risk of losing Brunson next season due to lux tax implications as DFS will be up for a nice raise and he is super important there, KP making near max and Doncic making super max or whatever its is called.

Brunson might get lost as he can make up to 54 million dollars and his skill is at best when Doncic is not on the floor.

Also we know that Clipper are most likely looking to shed their salary.

so

Horford to Clippers Clippers shed alot of salary with Bledsoe and Horford being non guarantees they can waive and stretch.

Marcus Morris, Luke Kennard and Boston first to Dallas. Basically turning THJ into Kennard and Morris at the cost of Brunson (who they probably cannot afford in the offseason) Nice lineup though IMO Doncic/Kenard/DFS/Morris/KP

Tim Hardaway Jr and Brunson to Boston Fixes our issues,

Lose our first which could be good and have to pay to keep Brunson
Nesmith, Juancho and Schroder next to go out the door

Brunson/Pritchard
Smart/THJ
Brown/Romeo
Tatum/Grant
Timelord/Kanter

If we trade a first for Jeff Green I'll lose my mind.

Jeff Green, lol He’s actually not bad, 35 but aging like Vince Carter, would be an upgrade over Juancho, who doesn’t play, and Jabari’s empty locker, which can’t.. second round pick?

No idea what Jalen Smith would cost - doubt he blows up here but I’d rather have his free agency to worry about than Schroeder’s.

Horford's a good fit for LAC. Ibaka's a free agent next year they're pretty stacked at the 2/3, so can deal off Kennard.

Can't see them dealing Boston Jr. unless in a bigger deal.

Trade Idea:

MIN - D'Angelo Russell

BOS - Marcus Smart, Dennis Schroeder, Aaron Nesmith

Thoughts?
