He apparently has a small mass in his left kidney. OUT indefinitely for the Pacers.

People should know he's not been good defensively. I haven't watched him much before this year but this year its been bad. Bigger guys bully him, smaller guys get around him. At center I would rather have a guy who is low usage, high defensive upside.
He's the kind of guy who if we didnt have Kemba returning then maybe, but with three better offensive options I dont think he's as valuable to the c's as other teams.
I admit, I mainly watch him on his highlights, which of course is geared towards his offensive plays. Wasn't aware of his defensive weaknesses. Though having him on offense would be such great compliment to the Js and Kemba. Come playoffs I can't watch Theis not being covered and not shooting/making 3s again. I guess I would prefer my center to be more capable on offense as we already have a center who can be good on defense with RW.
Ya I'll admit maybe I'm overreacting a little. Bad maybe a little much. He's certainly not good, stronger guys even stronger perimeter plays can put their body into him and open up space. But I've only seen like 3 of their games so I probably shouldn't make hard declarations. Guy can score.

This is awful but I think the fact that they still did the trade means they think he's ok. Let's hope

Terrifying. This trade and the resulting physical could save his life if it does end up being something though. Hopefully it's nothing.

Nets down 1 in the third with kd and harden playing. To the magic team we beat by like 50.

They just coast and then turn it on for ten possessions and win probably.

Grant Williams is the odd one out here.

Dort has exploded too, his 3pt% has increased dramatically (obviously will go down a bit) I still have faith in Grant.
He’s a smart player, fingers crossed he figures it out to the later stages of the season.

Vuc is just destroying them.
I know Brooklyn will add some big man help, guess they will wait for the buyout market

You are completely wrong about Grant Williams. He does a lot of things like unexpected blocks and clutch plays that you’ll never see just reading a stat line. He may never be a big scorer, but he’s an intelligent and versatile player who is stuck in a tweener size. He’s like a forward version of Marcus Smart in some ways.

Me: *checks box scores*
Me: "Oh hey, it's 110-107 BRK v. Magic. Should I tune in to the last few minutes?
Me: "Nah, probably not. The moment I do, BRK will go on a run."
Me: "Quit being superstitious SMT, watching it won't change anything.
Me: *Tunes in*
BRK: *Immediately goes on a 7-0 run to put the game away.*

I believe it is up to the team if they want to go through with the trade.

Harden could grab the quadruple double here if he isn't careful.

I hate that kyrie is a net.
If he wasnt I'd probably root for them more.
Living a decent amount of my life in CT I've always watched nets games as well as celtics games. I'd love for them to do well but **** I hate kyrie hes such a Jackass.
And if it comes down to celtics or nets in the offs of course it's always **** whoever it is.

There are plenty of players with good BBIQ. That doesn't make him a good basketball player. If he was a better player that actually could at least rebound (which as a big he is horrific at) and even just score to some reasonable degree there would be no need for clutch plays since the score wouldn't be anywhere near as close.
People used to say Horford as a Celtic was a bad rebounder. He was. Grant Williams is even worse as a rebounder. That's undeniably true. If a power forward/center can't rebound that's a major red flag.
Just because he tries hard that doesn't mean he's a good player. Do you really think for example that if a player like Brandon Clarke (who was selected one pick earlier) was playing in a game as a Celtic the score in games would be as close? That there would be need for clutch plays? Why is that?
