Curious to see how Watson progresses. Two areas of interest for me 3pt shooting and rebounding.

I’m curious and hopeful about Watson as well. It seems Anton was in a group of prospects of older 4-man and the other guys like Jon Mogbo and Enrique Freeman have looked pretty good so far. Energy, rebounding glue-guy power forwards seem like they’re making a little comeback. Hopeful for Anton as well.

I'd like to see all of these Guys play. Hopefully Scheierman, in particular, loosens up on the Maine Squad.
We had a lot of Guys Coming Back from years past, and then the 4 Affiliates.

Because of this, I think that we have 6 Guys that were on the Boston Roster, for Training Camp.
Not sure, but I believe only the Affiliates (that stay for 60 days) get the Salary Boost.

IMO Peterson with the big club gives Scheierman the role he can stay aggressive and try to get right. He's going to move the ball around a good deal and make a positive impact there at least.

This should be the Current Roster. Minus the 2 Tryout Guys, who got waived.

Hopefully he finally gets some 3's, too.

Can Scheierman play PG at a decent rate?

Thanks Gant.

Scheierman not in the Starting Lineup. Interesting.

They sometimes did that last year too with guys shuttling back and forth, probably for continuity.

Davison, Scheierman and Skapintsev bring some fun passing to the game. Maine games should be interesting this season.

But JD in there. I'm thinking it's more to allow him to play his full game, rather then just be in there to shoot and rebound.

What a performance by Baylor: 31, 7 & 7 and 6 for 13 on Threes.
Of course JD had 31 too, and we know he's not an NBA player...

Still, better to be dominating than scoring 7 points like Watson - if he wasn't dominating,
there would be some worry.

I sort of watched both games last night, as the big Celtics didn't captivate.

Maine musings:

It was nice to finally see Scheierman play relaxed. The guy's been tight as can be in Boston. He showed why they thought he was worth chancing a pick on. It turns out he actually can shoot after all. Step one of a long journey.

Davison is back to his all G League self. When he's a star option, he's really productive. JD won't have that role in NBA so he'll have to learn to be a pick and chooser to make it.

Skapintsev has some skills but his feet are made either of lead or some other very dense metal.

Hason Ward can fly, which is fun for watching this team.

Tristan Enaruna hesitates a lot.

Eric Gaines' physical skills are electric but seems to have trouble shooting.

Watson looked a bit undersized and perhaps a little slow, positively interpreted as "unrushed."

Ron Harper Jr. did nicely camping in the corners, shooting threes on feeds from Davison and Scheierman.

Peterson didn't play because he was in Boston. Scrubb didn't play because he's not ready yet.

Big other center Russell Tchewa wasn't even listed. I don't know if he's still on the roster.
edit: I just googled it- Tchewa was waived.

JD absolutely dominated the ball. I know he is desperate, but it has to be hard for others to get their game going..

As far as Scheierman goes I just to see good efficiency and aggressiveness..
2 things need to go.. my lack of spell check and Joe..
