Half this board wants this deal to fail so bad.

Some posters on here would rather be able to say "See, I told you so, I was right" than actually root for the team succuss.

Honestly, how many titles did they win with Smart? For all his winning plays they never got it done. Granted it wasn't all Smarts fault but they needed to change the DNA and he was the easiest of the 3 to move.

Zinger didn't work out for Dallas or the Knicks and he shined on a weak Wiz team. This was a BIG risk, high reward move, not to mention we gave up Smahhht and we're stuck keeping a disgruntled Brogdan. Heads are going to roll if this move backfires...Going to be an interesting season for sure! Time to earn that money Bubblegum Joe lmao

Lol. Move on already!

I've moved on boyeee, I'm curious who you and the hate club members are going to get fixated with this year? My guess is Brogs, White, or JB will be next in line or simply Mazzula will have a "fire him now thread" by Dec lol.

I love Smart, I think he’s clearly better than Brogdon, but i think White is clearly better than Smart. Porzingis is also better than Smart, and gives our team an element we just haven’t had. Him and Tatum is a nearly perfect fit, schematically speaking.

Everything doesn’t need to be the extremes here lol. You can disagree with moves or with posters about our players, doesn’t mean someone is rooting against the team.

What is Dan Greenberg’s point? This was an issue before the Porziņģis trade. Relying on Al and Rob.

Brad Stevens addressed his concern.
He added another big who will play as many games as Smart over a 3-4 year period. and Kornet is serviceable. And all it took was sacrificing some guard depth where we had too much

Loved Smart and his incredible hustle and will to give it all he's got - but now he's gone and there's really no use in crying over spilt milk. Looking forward to cheering on this squad as much as I did last year's squad. Hope KP stays healthy and plays so well that he makes an all-NBA team!!!
I'm really not getting all the bickering going on. Players come and go all the time, so just go with the flow, and enjoy whatever team the C's put on the floor!!!! Of course it is the off-season, so I guess arguing over players gives us something to do!!!

How many games has KP missed due to punching sh*t?

Holy crap, that list of names of FA's remaining is pretty surprising. I know a lot are past their prime but damn there's some names in there.

The mistakes Danny could have made if he listened to the p..sng and moaning going on on here everyday for years! Looking at that list, we just be talking out our butts, A LOT!

He's gonna get picked up FAST. Whoever needs another PG, has an open roster spot and is a team that could potentially give us some mins and really develop him.

We're seeing that it's just really tough to make it in this league if you're a PG. Especially one drafted outside of the top 20. Hell, even if you're drafted inside the top 20 it's tough when you look at guys like Kris Dunn, Kira Lewis, Jalen Suggs.

It's just really tough to make it in this league in general.

Too many talented players and not enough minutes/roster spots to go around.

Hope we get some expansion with 2 new teams added soon.
