It will be interesting to see what Brad’s response to this is. If the Knicks can stay healthy they are now a very formidable opponent.

One thing it seems to signal, is that the Celtics won the Title essentially without Porzingis in the Playoffs,
if they play the Knicks in the Post Season next year, they will need a contributing Zinger.

A few things Brad could do: Trade up in the Draft and grab a Big like Filipowski or move up a little and get another
scorer off the bench in Baylor. Two guys who can contribute right away.

And sign a quality ring chaser or two. Eric Gordon: Come on down!

There is no response when it comes to trades.

All the Cs can do is sign vets minimum guys.

For the record, the Champs are unmoved.

What else you got?

They're also over the 1st apron so its not like they can go out and get KD. Knicks have some good players but I don't put them in the Celtics class. They overpaid for Bridges.

But they can upgrade with Randle and a slew of their Picks - that seems to be the next move...

Especially considering Kristaps is always injured.

We swept the team that beat the Knicks I don't think the Knicks are suddenly the favorites because they added Mikal Bridges.

Not impressed with the Caruso or Bridges additions. Caruso is a poor man’s DWhite and Bridges is a loser. Celtics in 5. I think Indiana is the team that has the highest ceiling after the Celtics. LOL at the Bucks and Heat though. More first round exits for them

Knicks are not the favorites but I would pick them as #2 in the East. Philly, Miami and the Bucks are in panic mode.

Knicks dealt with a lot of injuries too. Randle didn't play at all. OG played the first two games (that they won) and then was out until game 7 when he only played 4 minutes. The guy they gave up, Bogi, didn't play at all.

Still work to do with the Knicks. They have room under the apron to sign OG unless PHI or someone blows him away. If they salary dump Mitch Robinson (who didn't play vs IND really - 1 game 12 minutes) they can maybe keep Hartenstein too. We'll see what they end up with, but their goal seems to be:

Brunson / McBride
Bridges / DDV
OG / Hart
Randle
Hartenstein / tbd

Compared to last year's series vs. IND, that's adding Bridges/OG/Randle all to the mix. Bridges and Randle weren't there and OG didn't play much.

Is that Jalen Duren rumor still out there if DET takes Clingan? Does Hauser/Walsh/picks/plus work for Duren?

Can't combine salaries if you're a 2nd apron team.

Think Caruso is a really big add for the Thunder. If they can get someone like Hartenstein on top of it, that team is very legit
