Watson is awesome. Walsh has regressed pretty hard, no idea what the issue is. Scheierman doesn’t look so much nervous as he looks like he’s not adjusting to the speed of the game well. He’s rushing everything

I like how Schei's not shy with pushing the ball. Look for early opportunities for an easy score. But that last one looks like a charge.

I’d like him to slip one of those screens he set for JD, the whole lane is empty and he’s walking into a layup if he slips.

Offensively Rico (Baylor) looks shocked by the speed of everything. He’s still hustling through it, but he seems shocked at how quickly guys can close. Even in SL the speed of the pro game can shock.

Eh. We only shut down Springer and Queta..who have been by far our 2 best players so far and are probably locked in to the 11/12 spots on our depth chart.

JD, watson, scheierman, peterson and Walsh are all playing still..

FWIW, Watson is the type of player who will look better during the real season when he is playing alongside actual NBA players like Tatum, Brown, etc.

His game is not really suited to summer league/garbage time/g league type of basketball where it's like a glorified pickup game. In this type of setting, it's fast, explosive guards/wings who can dunk and shoot 3's who look good.

Hence why guys like Reed Sheppard and Bub Carrington have looked good this year in SL..and why guys like Carsen Edwards and Payton Pritchard looked like all-stars in SL..

Tillie's 3pt% in MEM wasn't good, but he didn't take many. I hope they keep running plays for Tillie and Watson to shoot 3's. With Queta in their, those drives by JD were often made into lobs. Now, we have the bigs to stretch the floor out there.

Walsh looks so awkward this SL, it’s weird. I think the want to get mins with the big club this season is bothering him mentally.
