If the Celtics don't trade up in this Draft, because they don't want to take on extra salary, that's on the Venture Capitalist owners and not Brad. He might be on a strict budget, after all.

Being patient, they get two players.

And they don't sacrifice an asset.

Gonzalez, Wolf, Raynaud, Fleming, Penda, Thiero, Kalkbrenner, McNeeley still left with only one more pick before #28

We could blame the faceless boogeyman. Or we could recognize that Stevens just doesn’t trade up, ever.

UConn is a great program. Shooting potential. Sometimes the non sexy pick works out the best.

Best available imo:

Danny Wolf
Noah Penda
Bogoljub Markovic
Rasheer Fleming
Liam McNeeley
Maxime Raynaud
Kam Jones
Johni Broome
Hugo Gonzalez
Chaz Lanier
Koby Brea
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)
