Bassey is just about to turn 25, believe it or not. He's still pretty young. Just been Injured a lot.

So long RJ Luis. So this nets out the Kristaps Porzingis trade as Kristaps plus a 2nd for Georges Niang plus a 2nd. And then following up, Niang and two 2nds for RJ Luis. Now Luis gets waived, so we moved Kristaps and two seconds for nothing back except clearing the cap space

I have no idea who is the frontrunner for the next 2 way. If they are going to pick from the four camp guys, I probably like Brown and Moore over Harper and Bridges. If they want to leave it open, a lot of guys are getting cut right now. For instance BRK just cut Whitehead and Drew Timme. And probably a handful of interesting guys with 2-way eligibility are gonna be released in the numbers game ... so I'd be fine to just wait and see who comes available

That's still actually a really, really good deal that I would have jumped at before the offseason. To clear $30M for two 2nds is crazy. KP has some good value, obviously, but it's pretty diminished due to health. I thought we'd be stuck with Mann or something when I made up my trades. To completely shed the entire salary for that little isn't something I really even considered possible.

Yea, in a perfect world, we'd net a couple of 2nds rather than pay them but ... all things considered, we got out pretty much unscathed & it definitely could have been worse

I'm thinking that:

1) We Waive Jordan Walsh.
2) Bring in someone else for the NBA Spot (Bassey?)
3) Possibly elevate one of our 2 remaining Two-Ways?
4) Fill up our Two-Way allotment, with some of our Ex-10's.
5) Bring in and Waive about 4 more Players. Just to have enough Affiliates up in Maine.

This was what I was envisioning the opening night lineup looks like. Maybe Joe swaps out Boucher or Queta for Simons in the "closing lineup"

I like that starting lineup all things considered. Bench unit of Hauser, Simons, Minott, Hugo, Garza is decent as well. Not sure where Walsh, Tillman and Chucker fit.
