Starters were all in the negative +/- tonight. Congrats to Brad for thinking they needed that last scrimmage off.

Let's go on to the next game against Portland. Should be a lot easier.

No team will be easy when Tatum plays like this. He NEVER should have taken that last scrimmage off. He never looked right the first two scrimmages.

I still contend that he was hitting the weight too hard. It takes a bit to get used to the new muscles. He has to shoot his way back to where he was and I agree, taking that third scrimmage off was not the right call. But this league is soft now so it's expected. They're resting 22 y/o kids like they're made of glass

Tatum needs to learn how to impact the game during a cold shooting night. He did nothing but miss shots. I'm not worried about him though.

The rest of the starters looked pretty good. Scoring still looks easy for Kemba despite the bum knee. That's huge. This team can beat the Bucks in the playoffs.

Thoroughly disgusted with the refs tonight. Giannis should have fouled out 3 or 4 times at the end of the game.

We could have won this game.

Pretty disappointing loss, but......god damn it’s nice to have basketball back.

Now someone just needs to fill Tatum in on basketball being back.

Still cannot believe the Miami LeBron/Prime MJ whistle Giannis is getting.

Celtics win, 112-106. 80 pts by Middleton.

Officials for tonight: James Capers, Kevin Scott, Brent Barnaky

Hey, I got our final score right!! And Hayward scoring 17 (w/ 9 rebs and 6 asts). In the ballpark with Kemba (16) and Brown (22). Missed the Tatum prediction, but not by much (27 pts).

Anyway I am encouraged...
• Kemba looked good in limited minutes though we have to do better covering for him on defense.
• Wanamaker was solid. 26 minutes, team-high +9. Only solidifies his place in the rotation.
• Smart was awesomeballs. This would be a blowout without him.
• Hayward and Brown each did their thing.
• Theis fought HARD esp in the 2nd half. We need a backup big to emerge. Kanter is not it against the Bucks.
• Celtics back, baby! Keep on building on this into the playoffs. Not overly worried about Tatum.

idc how mad i am, that wrongly called charge on giannis was right to be called a foul on smart upon review. you cant move out of the circle when the guy is in the air. that wasn't the call that made me upset. a few others were pure shat though!

What the heck is Perk saying? He just said refs didn't have enough to overturn the Giannis call. They DID overturn it!

But the question is are they allowed to look at and change other aspects of the call, when the replay rules say they are only supposed to be looking at being in or out of the circle.

Since there is no AOS thread for JT, I will post here:
Marcus was great.
Gordon was great.
Kemba was very nice & looked fluid w time restriction.
JB shot poorly - a few nice moves.
JT was incomprehensibly bad on both ends - short armed & ‘aimed’ his Js, his drives to the hoop were pathetic & weak, & his D was suboptimal as well.
BW acceptable in big minutes.

And yet we were right there & easily could have & should have won, if not for missed Goal Tend & if not for the Greek dingleberry not being fouled out with 3 minutes left after he slammed DT’s package.

League is **** corrupt.

Let’s hope & pray that JT was drugged by aliens earlier today & the real JT Super Star appears on Sunday.

The End
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Our best defensive unit was with Grant at the 5 but he never used in the second half
