Hayward has been a disaster in Boston. Three years in and we still haven't seen consistent production from him. As injury prone as they come. It's time for both sides to move on.

Sucks for GH and the team.

IM hoping Grant gets most of the minute and plays well.

Semi is limited and Romeo can’t shot.

Romeo should now get more minutes but he has torn ligaments in his wrist. He's at least a good defender though and can slash and get to the rim.

You have 35 GH minutes to hand out... Who gets them?

Smart, Brown, Tatum, and Kemba are gonna have to go close to 40 a night. Smart will see his minutes increase by about 5.

Leaves you 30 more mins from Wanamaker, Kanter, Semi, Timelord, Romeo, and Grant. It's not ideal but I trust in Stevens to figure something out.

Smart actually isn't that much of a downgrade and I could argue he makes the defense better. But, the issue is what happens behind him where you now need to find 30 more mins from the bench.

Semi's catch and shoot and Romeo' ability to slash and get to the rim. Both are plus defensive matchups and Romeo can really hang with guards. Only silver lining is the bench guys aren't bad defensively so you don't have to hid anyone

Just in time for his kid to be born. See you next year, Gordon.

Philly is missing Simmons. We'll now be missing Hayward. I hope and trust nobody thinks this is an excuse to lose to Philly.

Welp. Hayward's Boston tenure has been as bad as it gets.

Silver lining, the organization sees the obvious fact that the franchise is now Tatum and Brown, draft a legit PF prospect, and starts developing the team of the future around the Jays. Romeo, the Williams, the draft picks, all need tons of playing time next year. Bigger role for Smart.

Hate to say it, maybe find a trade for Kemba (young PG)

How about giving Javonte some burn? His defense is pretty solid and he can provide some scoring spark instead of just waiting in the corner for a spot up three (I’m looking at you Semi)

Was always the odd man out money wise. If he opts in, I'm ok with going after a trade.

Hoping Langford can hit a few shots. This opportunity is tailor-made for him. I mean, this is what he's here for.

Relying on a guy who's a rookie who has torn ligaments in his wrist and already wasn't a great shooter is not great.

Didn't say it was ideal. Make no mistake. This situation sucks. Either him, Grant or Semi has to hit some shots and likely 2 of the 3.

Have you guys seen the rest of the teams play in the restart?? No team has stood out that you'd go, "****, we don't have a chance against that team." The closest would be the Raptors and we smacked the hell out of them when we met.

This could've been our year. I truly believed that. Believed, as in past tense. Not happening without Hayward.
