In my biggest dreams, Silver steps in and says Lakers are banned from getting AD and any organization found tampering will also be levied the same penalty.

It would cause quite the uproar and Lebron would unleash his entire media brigade which is why I don’t think Silver has the guts to do it like Stern would.

Lakers are smart, they are keeping out dirt cheap role players to complete starting 5 with AD and LeBron. Hart at SG and Zubac at C...and giving 3 players they basically do not need in ball, Ingram and Kuzma.

They have Chandler at C and will get one if Kanter/Jordan after buyout...for sure there will also be some ring chasing veterans bought out.

Imo they are keeping Zubac/Hart/one more pick out of deal to use in Hill trade for expiring...there is a stupid team out there which will take salamon Hill contract belive me.

Its going to the wire imo.

You know that girl in your high school - she's average looking at best, but she hangs out with a bunch of fat chicks as a way to stand out? That's what Paul is doing with AD's list of teams. It's an obvious ploy and it is laughable. What's even more hilarious is that some of you are actually falling for it.

Well I didn't realize the Bucks were on the list. Thats new level weird.

I mean we do get it. They are desperately trying to get him in LA, been obvious since day 1.

Whats hilarious too is Magic said he wanted to retire Lonzo's jersey someday and well.....hey where's the loyalty?

Bucks made the list so they can cause dissention in them too. Seems as much anyway.

Not a difficult call here... NO wants players from a team that won 50+ games and went to the ECF, w/out Kyrie and Gordon, over players from a team that wouldn't crack 35 wins w/out LeBron.

Next should be Den or Port. Gotta target them too. Any contender will be a target of talks. The team who best says get lost, will have the best morale going into the second half. Look at our board, and see that.

You just gave the reason why Pels would do the deal right now with the Lakers. Ainge might say that he's ready to give everything but who knows how things change when the time comes.

For the next week, we lie and say most likely we’ll give you Tatum because we believe we can resign AD.

If they wait to trade him, then in the summer Rich Paul is definitely going to leak something about AD hating Boston. So then Danny be like no more Tatum because we don’t know if he’ll resign and f**k the Lakers so give us AD lol

He has a chance to get his client to a historic organization and pair him up with one of the league's best closers, one of the best coaches in the league, and one of the best GMs in the league. But of course, the conflict of interest here is that Ainge insulted his Bff. Oh yeah, and the top closer on the team also happened to ruin Lebron's last year in Cleveland after he found out that they (Paul and Lebron) tried to ship his ass out to Cleveland so they could get another one of his clients (Bledsoe) to Cleveland.

This goes to show just how petty Lebron and Paul are if they are doing this because of their dislike for Ainge.

I can't wait until Thursday night when we play the Lakers. Kyrie is going for 40 that night while AD watches the game from home, as a member of the Pelicans.

I think Paul is doing it to help LeBron not to stick it to Ainge. For Paul LeBron's interests are more important than Davis's. Sticking it to Ainge would just be a nice benefit for them if it happens. I still think we can get Kyrie and Davis here long term.

Yup. I am in complete agreement here, and again, I truly wonder if AD has ever really wondered to himself "Hey......why shouldn't I play for Boston?". Does he not realize that he's being played here, and that his own agent is trying to appease his friend? Does AD not realize that he is the one with the most control here, and not Rich Paul and Lebron?

Ya idk maybe Paul and LeBron have Davis mind ****. We need Kyrie in Davis's ear saying let's play in Boston. I'm kinda concerned / pissed that he's not. Hopefully he is and just is doing it in a savy, non-public way.

I hope our team can laugh next week, enjoy playing the game again when the media circus is over, you sure can tell its wearing on Kyrie. What matters most is once the dust settles, Kyrie is going to dominate. A pissed off Kyrie on a mission is so much better than the depressed Kyrie who bottles up. The low is right now, and the Fuel to get us over the top. #Championship.

Guys all this BS about Davis Sr and “the list” is nothing more than a desperation ploy to get Davis to the Lakers NOW.

If he had Boston on the list knowing it is impossible to be traded their now it would essentially be him saying it’s ok to wait until the summer. That is also him saying he is ok with not joining LeBron until 2020 when LeBron’s window will be closed. Lakers need him yesterday not in in a year and a half.

The entire story will spin after Thursday if he isn’t traded and you’ll see them start to soften on Boston.

Now if he is traded this week then you’ll start to hear the rumblings of KD teaming with Kyrie more and I hope Ainge somehow finds a way because there would be nothing better than LeQueen/Davis Lakers vs Kyrie/Durant Cs.

I wanna know what the hell kind of player is Davis to be ok with essentially being LeBron and Paul’s pawn. Rich Paul is not looking out for Anthony Davis - he’s only looking out for LeBron. Davis should tell them both to pound sand and find him a situation that is best for HIM whether that’s Boston or not.

And we do not need Kyrie saying anything! That's tampering. Let it go. Chips will fall as they may. Not being on the list is perfect. I feared the Bucks cause they were not on it.

Well, I mean I hope that Kyrie wouldn’t tell the media that he wants his current teammates traded for a guy that isn’t possibly available for him to play with until next season.

The proposed Lakers offer is a joke, but if they are forced to trade him then nothing we can do about it. I also don't believe taking on Solomon hill is that big a deal!
His expiring contract counts for 8 million in 2019-20, so not sure that is a "cap relief" for the Pelicans. Who is going to sign with them? And why would cap room mean anything to them?

This is a bunch of BS (not the report) but the notion that that is such a huge thing for the Pelicans. If they do that they're completely idiotic.

Even if the Lakers included Zubac and Hart that is just a quantity not quality package. It's like saying 5 ants are more than 4 elephants.

Lakers always had to give up all of Ball, Kuz and Ingram to even have a shot of landing Davis.

And why wouldn't we. We can give the best package for Davis and we can offer Kyrie more money than any other team.

I wouldn’t trade Tatum straight up for those 3. It’s all about quality over quantity in the NBA.
