Scary part is that I think Irving is slightly crazier than Marbury.

Kyrie can become the Carmelo of Brooklyn.

I don't carry the dislike for Kyrie as most, but I don't really care if he stays or goes. The only thing that sucks is the Cs lose him for nothing. But, whatever as that's the business.

Marbury is probably a pretty good comp in terms of talent but just being a mental midget. Different games, but still a solid comp

Imo...until Lakers offer really is Ingram, ball, nb.4 there is no need to offer Tatum because imo brown, smart, Mem pick is just as good if not better.

The only problem is 3rd team because it looks Griffin does not like nb.4 and ball...so if somehow someone offers a very good player than that beats out best no Tatum offer.

On other hand, imo if we somehow get ad without Tatum...Tatum+ad on team, I'm sure Kyrie stays.

That bFb guy was a great poster, not for insider stuff but for his general take on roster construction. Too bad he's been absent lately.

This board having so many miserable doubters is why. It's frustrating because insiders are an awesome luxury to have.

Since I read about all these burner accounts theories I’m constantly linking people with other posts etc. There’s only one guy I discovered but he’s been pretty open about it also so that wasnt really a discovery.

On-topic now: they’re trying to make Ainge blink but he won’t. It’s a matter of finding out what’s enough to be better than any LA offer cause in the end we’re 100% sure they gonna throw it all-in. You just gotta find out what NOP values and bid x+1. Hope it’s something without Tatum but in the end it might not be. They’re now trying to pretend they like Kuzma, that says enough IMO lol.

Bad move by Danny... Wasted a #8 pick, and the 2018-2019 season on Kyrie.

Wonder if this is tactics by Ainge. Using his mouthpiece as a sign to the Pels. "Hey look this might happen with Davis a year from now so I can't give up Tatum".

Or it may be what is written in the 1st sentence, you never know with a guy like Kyrie.

Can't wait for Rondo and Brad to square up with Perk as the ref. Good things ahead.

Anybody in their right mind would trade Sexton for 2 years of Irving. No offense to Sexton, he's a pretty decent prospect. Irving is still somewhat elite tho.

Hindsight.

Not a bad move in a vaccuum, not at all.

Eh not really, people need to look at the whole deal of that.... we got out of paying IT any sort of long term money which would’ve crippled this franchise 100x worse than Haywards injury has.

Kyrie was fine last year.... he gave all indications that he wanted to stay so of course we thought “Great we can do AD, Kyrie, Hayward, Horford and vets” that’s a championship team right there.

I guess where the fault lies is the fact Kyrie is one weird dude and flips and changes his mind more than anyone else in the league.

It sucks. Like.... REALLY sucks. But it’s happened and now we need to pivot and work out our best way to Banner 18 again.

It's not a bad move. Every move has risks; look at Gordon. He didn't give up as much in the end. The Nets pick didn't end up high. Crowder and IT. He'd do it over knowing what would happen. Guys like Ainge eventually win. Look at the rest of the league who are always so afraid to do anything and they are stuck sucking forever.

Danny's also banking on Lebron having anither crap year and missing a ton of games due to injury, so Davis won't want to join the hobbled 36 year old next offseason. Quite frankly, I have no idea why he's so dead set on joining Lebron even now. Perhaps Paul's long time friendship with Lebron is clouding their judgement in them seeing that Father Time will end Lebron (he already started to this past season).

Who gives a rat's ass? He's a FA. We knew it; Ainge knew it; Kyrie knew it. Get over it. Most people here want him gone so he might be one loved man in Boston.

If Kyrie goes to the Nets, he won't win a title there before us, or even win one at all. He needs to play with a bonafide #1 to have a chance at a title, and that ship sailed once KD went down. The only other chance is Kawhi and there's no indication he's considering Brooklyn. Does Kyrie think he's that good that he can just go to his hometown team and guide them to a ring on his own? Who knows with him.

‪If he wants to leave to go to the Nets, so be it. You move on.‬ If he wants to give up on the celtics, oh well.
