Not my preferred pick, but I can see Gonzalez being a good fit.

Yeah, Brad never drafts a center. He's obsessed with Kornet lol

Hugo, Aran Smith from NBA Draft Net deserves credit because he was advocating Hugo for the Celts.

But, do they keep him and will he be a Stevens Bust like Bergeron, Walsh, JD?

Has to be a stash pick.

Givony said Boston plans on bringing him over next season.

Very rare these days to stash a 1st round pick.

Dude on ESPN says we love Hugo cuz he plays crazy intense and plays pg through pf and makes game changing highlight plays and we're bringing him over right away

Since that's the only thing I know about him I guess he sounds good haha

Well, we certainly need effort and intensity.
Like every year, it’s been fun debating.

Hugo is a solid pick. Just hope Fleming or Penda last to 32.

Oh no, not disappointment in the 28th pick!!!!

Relax guys, the receipts still exist from the reactions from getting Pritchard at 29

Yuck. From Yahoo:

"Shooting upside: He made 27.2% of his 3s in three years combined in the Real Madrid system and for the Spanish youth national team, per Real GM. But he has solid form and made 77.6% of his free throws, an encouraging sign for his potential to become a plus-shooter.

Concerns
Ball-handling: Hasn’t shown much ability to generate shots for himself or others. He lacks a midrange pull-up or much wiggle to get to the rim. He has a good but not great first step as well."

I bet Brad is targeting either Fleming, Markovic, Kalkbrenner or Broome for a big at 32

He probably knows at least 1 of them will still be there at 32.

But maybe Hugo is the only wing he wants who's still on the board so he takes Hugo at 28, knowing some of those bigs will still be there at 32.

If the Hugo pick signals we are looking to get younger..I am hoping for Markovic at 32. That could be a nice dup. Hugo is more of a defender..Markovic more of an offensive player. 1 wing and 1 big. Both 19 yrs old. Both overseas players who play hard and have good basketball IQ.

Celtics draft Gonzales.

They'll tell us about his effort and his defense.

He'll never see any meaningful minutes. Much like most of Brad's recent draftees.
