Fultz never stood alone for me. Ever.

I truly wanted Josh Jackson from the start, that being said, once we got the #1 pick I talked myself into Fultz hard.

However, I'm now fully talking myself into the LAL 2018 1st.

Doncic, Ayton, Bemba? Yes please.

Does the word protection mean anything to you? Those picks are near worthless.

It didn't mean anything to your parents, and you seemed to turn out OK  Come on man, relax and let the process play out.

He traded Paul Pierce and KG, he traded Rondo, he could possibly trade IT in the near future.
And now, he traded a player that most of us fell for even before wearing green.

He traded Paul pierce when he was thirty five and washed up, stfu

Hey guys.

Remember when we didn't mind getting smacked by Cleveland because we had Fultz coming in the summer.

Dominater wrote:some of you guys are nuts on here. Ainge getting the LAL pick to move down 2 spots when he didn't want the guy at #1 is a steal in itself. Anything to do with that SAC pick is a bonus

It's not just two spots. Two spots is 15 to 17.

This is giving up the #1 pick!!

Why wouldn't they be? They're horrendous. They almost passed the Nets this year. Nothing really changes for them.

I don't mind the trade insofar as we're rebuilding. But...

1) Doing it right now, and not on draft night, doesn't make sense to me.

2) I'd like to see Ainge follow up a move like this with a concerted effort towards rebuilding. Flipping picks for some 2nd tier "win now" player would be very disappointing.

Celtics finally get the first pick in the draft and ainge appears to be trading it for more picks. Unreal.

If the guy who called the trade(this years 3rd, the best of Philly and LA next and a 2021 Philly 1st), you have 3 tries to get the 1 and 2 next year in a more top loaded draft. Might work out in the end

Wasn't this a loaded draft with franchise players? And we landed 1. Maybe next year, we will also. Uggg

Eh...Its a deep draft...the jury is out about a superstar in it. Think next year has some more franchise changers but not as deep

The_Ghost_of_JB wrote:The best course of action would have been to draft Fultz and wait for the Warriors to get old. It isn't possible forAinge to build a team that can contend with the Cavs or The Warriors.

This is the logic that makes sense when there's an AD type of prospect in the draft, but there isn't.

Not really time to joke around. Look at those picks he already has outside of BKN. Top 7 protected. Top 15 protected. Garbage. Complete garbage.

I'm not reading this as protection only on the Kings pick.

Gtfo, cavs fan, you're not welcome here.

Why so hostile?

Shumpert and IT can be a good pairing and one measly pick is not much to ask. Sac pick preferred
