Wrong thread, but Milwaukee. Handled them pretty well last year without Hayward and Kyrie.

Yes, looks it's game over to hope SAC pick to be 8th worst which would give us 26% at top 4.

Yeah uh, Joerger might be coach of the year. They just beat Philadelphia and San Antonio - Fox shot 9-12, Bagley was a +23 with 23 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks and a steal, 1-4 from three. I think I mapped out the scenario early in this thread where they'd be in the playoff hunt - Fox and/or Hield making a leap, maybe WCS, and getting something from Bagley or Giles - but that they'd start strong and keep it up this late into the season, actually getting better as they go....

Hard to know how much to credit management - the Kings, like the Bucks, seem like a front office that has thrashed around like a fire hose for a decade and turned into winners just by dumb luck.

A huge chance. Half a game behind the flailing Clippers, one game up on the Lakers.

I'd say the Lakers will make it, Kings 9th, Clippers 10th, but I have done zero research on schedule etc.

Also, that positioning SUCKS for our draft picks lol. Lose out on the Clippers pick, and the Kings is way worse than we would have guessed.

Oh well. Go Clippers. We should lose to them on Saturday night.

EDIT: I checked 538, odds to make playoffs: Clippers 50%, Lakers 29%, Wolves 17%, Pelicans 13% (LOL) Kings 9%. I do not trust 538.

If the Kings do fall off a little bit, it would be great if the Wolves and Mavs could get their **** together and overtake them in the standings (though they have little motivation to do so).

11th worst record has 9.4% chance of a top 4 pick, 14th worst (ie. lottery cutoff) is 2.4%.

It depends, if Memphis tanks and gets some decent picks this year and next, and signs some average players they could be a 35-40 win team, and end up like the Kings fighting for the 9th seed. Anything is possible.

Everyone just assumed the kings would suck, they were 6th worst last year and have improved quickly. Memphis is better managed than the Kings. This pick should be flipped before that if AD is there in the summer.

Clippers are in the middle of a very rough stretch, 10 of 12 on the road. They are 2 games into it..... so they still have 8 of the next 10 on the road. The good news is Gallinari seems close to returning (possibly Thursday). Their offense is on a completely different level with him on the floor. If this stretch goes too poorly, Clippers could be ready to throw in the towel.

Who knows if they will flip anybody at the trade deadline as well. I would expect them to.

Honestly, if I’m Danny I lead out with Tatum/Brown/Smart Sac pick, LAC pick and 2 BOS firsts. Don’t put the Grizz pick on the table right away.
