Wannamaker is a PG. Collison is still on the market and we have the MLE. The are plenty of decent backups to go around.

What no one is talking about is the fact that the Pelican's once again stripped their squad a summer after they do some damage in the playoffs. Now Anthony davis is pretty much all alone again and they expect him to just carry them into the semi's every year cause he got there once before. It doesnt work that way. if Kawai isn't being traded to the C's, we can always revisit AD next year after it's apparent the Pelicans are getting decemated in the standings next year sparking new rumors. Id much rather AD since this guy Kawai seems to have a problem in his cabesa.

If the Pelicans get Schroeder for Hill and Jrue stays healthy and is able to shoot, they’re actually going to be competitive again.

We can’t not have known about the Rose rule, the hope must be that we give Kyrie his new deal next summer and work a trade after that.

No idea what owners are willing to pay tax wise, whether the luxury tax rules will change, or what the future cap projections are with Vegas money coming after TV money..

But I have to think, given how the league has shifted to favor scoring and versatility, that Danny has to be tempted to offer Yabu for Justise Winslow and Morris/Nader/1st for Jabari in a two-year contract sign and trade (does that transfer Bird rights?). Two risks, but if Justise smooths out his shot and Jabari stays healthy and defends decently, we get two Evan Turner reclamations and so much bench forward depth we can exhaust any team in the league.
