The hope is Jaylen improves enough soon that when we stagger the starters and he has to play without Tatum, the team at least has its head above water with him leading the charge. I'm not too optimistic.

Can we stay above .500 while Kemba is out?

Tatum 2 preseason games : 9-30, 2-13 from 3. But again, it's Jaylen the problem...the plus minus stat is useless.

The biggest problem this team has is Brad Stevens. brad is top 5 defensive mind of the league that should not be debated:) But offensively, it is very medium to bad.
-Let Smart take a ton of 3pts (defensively he is the heart of the team but offensively he is the cancer. it’s a shame because he’s a great passer and he can drive to the basket but his Volume 3pts shooting is really killing us)
- His timeout are always too late (idk maybe he like watching us getting destroy)
- In the 4th QT he let our players play stupid iso when the game is on the line
-His rotation are very questionable and sometimes not adapted.

I saw someone say we should had hire MDA as an assistant coach and i 100% agree with it.

These are pretty accurate. The shooting is frustrating, you can’t be a jump shot team without jump shooters. Part of the issue though is Ainge hasn’t put the right players for Brads system. Go out and add a couple vet scorers, cut down the low efficiency shots and this team looks a lot different.

Yes, you’re right, it’s also the fault of ainge. I was completely furious the night of the draft we had the man who broke the bat on our range and we did not draft him A bench with Smart Bane Nesmith and the two williams could have done huge damage offensively and defensively

Really, who stepped out of their roles though? I thought everyone did what they usually do but did it poorly. When has CBS ever given defined roles?

Sounds like it's "Deliver what we're relying on you for".

I presume from his body and brains that Grant Williams is a lot better at blocking out than he is at actually rebounding, and I presume from the article that he wasn't playing to that skillset. Catch and shoot guys are obligated to reposition themselves so that they can be passed to. Guys who are afraid to shoot when open need to take the shots. (One guy without that problem: Smart.)

And that's all before we consider defense ...

We are no longer the Celtics of IT4 who could make sick comebacks and that was in large part because we had players with the rage to win but now except smart we no longer have players who have this mentality.

Smart doesn't destroy anything! Again, the issues don't start and end with one guy, the TEAM has work to do!
