Explain how we get that 34 mil cap hold back? How are we supposed to build the roster how with no tradeable assets? No money to sign anyone of worth and a gm who can't draft for **** outside the top 5?

This isn't about hayward. He sucked.

I'm completely flabbergasted. MJ doing (Please Use More Appropriate Word) MJ things again, Gordon taking the money like the loser he is, Ainge **** things up.

Just a goddam train wreck all around holy ****. Fire everyone on the Hornets, Pacers, and Celtics.

"Get this over with Milasap" could be thread #8.

My thing about Millsap is that we may be max cap room players next summer now (if we dump Kemba by then). No multiyear deals.

If you think the Celtics are going to be a treadmill next year lol ok bud

MIL, MIA, PHI are demonstrably better than the Celtics... Raptors are just as good... So we are the 4th or 5th seed, as things stand at the moment. Fourth or fifth in the East IS the treadmill.

Hard disagree

Did u predict the lakers would be a mess last year and not a champion with ad and bron?

Pretty simple to understand but half the board is in shambles just like they were last year with Horford going to Philly.

Rinse and Repeat. When will you clowns learn?

 :banghead: Again it’s not about the deal. The fact that it got to a point where another max player wanted out and you got nothing for it is what’s frustrating. Ainge misplayed his hand. This team is now worse off and have very little options to improve. It’s amazing people are okay with this....
Next year Tatum is 30m a year. You can't have four players making 30m a year for more than maybe a year tops before the real tax gets real. We could never trade Hayward for another long term max deal. We aren't golden state.

The Heat DID beat the Cs in the playoffs, right??? Or were you in an alternate reality then?

Umm why the hell were police officers checking in on Robyn Hayward every day? Does Gordon know about this? Does she have a milkman and a pool boy visiting too?

Probably the neighbours complaining about her. I mean, she blocked Constable on Twitter, that's all you need to know.

So.. By my count, we need a starting 4, and another offensive minded player off the bench.

Kemba / Smart / Pritchard
Jaylen / Langford
Tatum / Nesmith
_____ / G.Williams
Theis / R.Williams (or vice versa)

Serious question:

If Ainge signed Hayward for 4 yrs/120, would you guys be happy? Because I know for a fact the board would still be in shambles saying "what are you doing paying him that".

Carry on.

Yea that’s possible. Everything’s fluid right now. Giannis ain’t coming here but there’s other decent free agents

Thing is, they still have to demonstrate it.

I bet we still son Philly.

Not the biggest Doc fan, but he is a good coach. And they have made some solid moves so far. I'll take them over us.... And if Brooklyn gets Harden, that's two teams in the division that are better than you (maybe three, depending upon what the Raps do).

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, cause I say this a lot:

Sure, if all our opponents get the most favorable outcomes, and none of our youths take a step, then obviously we lose ground. But it rarely works like that in reality. Not every rival team will maximize their potential, while we completely fail to do so. These things fall on bell curves. Some teams will improve and some will regress.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us beat or lose to any of these team this season.

Who are the realistic expiring players we can dump Kemba for? Just curious.

some people have forgotten that we made the ECF with hayward basically contributing nothing, with one of the youngest teams in the playoffs.

we're only getting better folks. let everyone else win the offseason. we win games.

And for everyone who said that there’s be others that says see “Danny matched that deal he knows what he’s doing”. There’s both sides here it’s not one way.
