Torn ACL and torn Achilles on someone that big and lumbering?

Unless the Celtics start a wheelchair league Id probably pass on cousins. Team would be better signing Olyncy If he becomes available.

I’m expected to consider a date with Scarlett Johansson. More to follow later

Can he at least shoot the 3 still? Could be productive in short minutes just to spread the floor a bit and wouldnt demand to start like Drummond. I must admit I did not watch him at all in Houston.

Did you watch Yesterday's game? We kinda have the goat 7footer who shoots 3 pointers. Does good screens and boxes out the guy who had 19 rebounds the first half.

Nope to boogie. He's just a name at this point.

Human beings are fickle and not loyal at all. They will dispose and tell on you if given the opportunity. People forgot what Cousins did with AD in New Orleans, even when he was with the kings. He was a beast, a great player. If cousins can still drop even 15 a game, that’s a solid win for the Celtics. Bring him onboard.

Our team is also soft AF and having an actual ass hole may help us some. Theis would get decked and basically say thank you to the other team. Boogie would be quite the contrast.

Wagner is a decent hustle big when matched up against the slow footed ones. Kornet seems to be good against rim protectors to draw outside the paint.

Not the best bigs but Brad can play with them against certain match.ups since he's the x and o's coach.

Agreed. Moses Brown was a great matchup for kornet. Too skinny to really punish Kornet downlow. Sadly we have no one to cover Embiid.

Who can? Not even AD can cover Embiid. One thing for sure what Embiid said about the Celtics is that we always kick their asses.

The Celtics took off after the two 3pointers by Kornet because Moses can't defend the perimeter while Luke was boxing out Moses on every rebound.

When Moses was shutdown and benched a few minutes after, everything else followed and we never looked back.

Agree.

Certain matchups will dictate who Brad uses.

I'd kick the tires on Boogie, but only if he's in shape. Either he does what Stevens wants or he is waived again. He's not good enough to freelance anymore, but maybe he can get up and down the floor without huffing and puffing. The Celtics have to play fast to be successful. They can't slow it down and play half court basketball for 48 minutes.

The problem with that is the Celts will have to waive a player.

I don't think Ainge will do that.

So how valuable do you think Carsen Edwards is going to be in the playoffs?

Cousins has been available for weeks now.

Not a single team picked him up.

So that says a lot about what NBA teams think about Cousins.

Cousins is also one of the worst pick and roll defenders.

Kornet is supposedly really good on PnR D. He has size and length at 7-2 and can stretch the floor. Brad is going to play this guy. Wagner and Kornet are role and bench guys. They have size and can shoot and we can play 5 out with them. It's a different look.

I must say, i liked Kornet's activity when he played.

It's not all basketball related when it comes to Cousins' issues.

Ainge will not want Cousins inside the Celtics locker room.
