Seriously take the draft prospect talk to the draft thread, this is not for that. Thanks.

Harsh, dude. I thought it was cool that Thon started up an account and came in here to tell us about himself.

Wtf, man. Crushing, crushing loss. I don't even know.

My word. I was DVR'ing the game and saw your post and thought I was heading home to watch a loss.

Watch the draft tiebreaker drawing in the link, can't be embedded and couldn't find it anywhere, this was on april 17 last year, so I assume tomorrow before the playoffs. Maybe it will be broadcasted live on www.nba.com/live1

It's actually not a coin flip but the same process as the draft lottery itself.

Well I thought I'd better stop by and make one last post in this thread. Sorry to disappoint you guys with an unexpected late season surge to push our pick back a few spots. I really thought we'd be delivering a better pick when this year started knowing Dirk/Rick wouldn't let us totally bottom out, but not thinking we had enough to make the playoffs. 2 teams destroying the conference tho helped as did some key injuries to teams like Utah and New Orleans.

Still I hope you guys can take that pick and put into a package for the missing star. Really like your team and coach and its like all the supporting players are just ready for that guy to bring it all together.

Thank you very much. And to be honest, I had a hard time rooting for Dallas to lose games. One of the classiest teams in the league from ownership to front office to coach to players. The players played their hearts out down the stretch. Coach Carlisle is the best. All the best in the post-season. Take it to OKC.

Don't think it makes tv. Usually, they just leak it through twitter.

+1 on every word of this. Your posts were appreciated, and while I rooted against it every night, the playoff spot well-deserved!

this thread (and its two forebearers) is just for salivating/prognosticating about where the picks end up. we need to keep it on-topic for the next twenty-four months!

YO seriously, get your little Thon Maker discussion the **** out of this thread. this thread is about pick positioning. people have been talking draft prospects in the draft threads (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1433286&start=400) all season.

This is partly my fault that the thread got hijacked, I asked the question on it, initially. Sorry.

I double checked it, triple checked, but it's giving me the same result: the odds of top 3 teams staying in pre-lotto order is 0.7%.
Orlando Magic, lotto-seeded 11th has a higher chance of winning #1 at 0.8% than post-lotto top 3 being exactly Philly #1, Lakers #2 and Boston #3. To put some things and trade plans into perspective.

My desired top 3 is Boston/BK #1, Phoenix #2, Minny #3.

Yup. It's why I laugh at all the Philly fans expecting pick 1 and 4 this year- the probability of Philly getting the 1 and two teams jumping LAL is TINY. Gotta love contingent probability.

If we win the lottery I bet game 1 of the Celtics will be at Brooklyn. NBA loves this storylines.

Watching the magic 30 for 30 night, landing back to back number 1 picks, including one where they had 1 ball only in 66 made me sick.

We're due
