We compare favorably to the Darko Pistons, could reach that level defensively and have better scorers - neither is Billups clutch yet. Good enough to win in a down year..

There's a reason I named my dog Rondo! He was my favorite player back then.

Does he fake you out before returning something he's fetched?

We've played 1-3 more games than most other good teams in the East (Bucks are an exception). So loss-column standings don't look as good as actual standings do. Indeed, in the loss column we're 7th right now, rather than 6th. (And the team we flip with is Toronto, who are on an 8-2 run themselves.)

On the plus side, those teams will have to play each other a lot, so they can't ALL win out. ;)

Nah, he just looks at me like I'm stupid, and walks away with that I know better than you attitude.

Was a weird segment. He was talking about them not sacrificing and I was assuming he meant offensively, but then called out tthe D which was just crazy. Even offensively, they've been working on it and made strides.

That is correct. Of the top 8 East teams, Celtics have the fewest remaining games against the top 8 East teams. We have five left while the other 7 teams have either 9 or 10 such remaining games each. Hope they beat each other to a pulp and we're left standing on top of the pile.

Over the last 15 games, in the restricted area.

Smart- 94% (15 of 16).
Tatum- 76% (63 of 83).
Rob- 72% (52 of 72).
Jaylen- 70% (49 of 69).

God damn. The Smart one is very low volume, but come on lol. Tatum is basically unstoppable at the rim now, on really high volume.

Espn finally dropped RPM for this season, 60 games in instead of the usual 15 lol. Hope that means they fixed their formula, but the Celtics are very well represented.

FYI... I just got an email from the C's about changes to the TD Garden health and safety measures.

TD Garden Health & Safety Policy Update
Effective February 21, 2022

Mayor Wu and public health officials recently announced that the City of Boston’s “B Together” policy has been lifted.

Effective February 21, 2022, TD Garden and the Boston Celtics align with the City, and no longer require certain guests to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to gain access to TD Garden*.

Please note, the City of Boston’s Indoor Mask Mandate remains in effect until further notice, requiring all guests aged two (2) and older to wear a mask while inside TD Garden, except while actively eating or drinking as permitted.

*Guests who are seated in, or have access to, areas within 15 feet of the court or player-proximate areas remain subject to additional health and safety policies mandated by the NBA.

The Boston Celtics are 15-12 against teams above .500. Every other team in the conference has a losing record against winning teams. So much for the we only beat bad team crew. They must have us confused with the Chicago Bulls.

I wonder, was the purpose of this article supposed to paint Irving in a sympathetic light?

I mean it adds context but also ignores his BS talk about wanting to be the lead star when he got to Boston.

Among the top 8 East teams, Celtics have the best record (13-7) against the top 8 teams in the East w/ the fewest games (5) left against that group.

We also have a winning record (8-7) against the current top 8 teams in the league. The Bulls are 1-10 lol.
