For 4M a year? Seems low no?

9. Can offer a starting role too

$9m will not be enough to get him. Not with these huge contracts being handed out.

It will be interested. Boston with be looking for S&T. Either with Horford or possibility Morris.

Porzingis seems like fools gold. How many games has he played in the last three year? And with all the off the court stuff he seems more like that other guy you gamble on because you're over the cap anyway then the person you bet the franchise on. Can debate whether DSJ was the best return or not but can't blame them for moving on from him.

Rozier is worse than both contract-wise but all are overpays

Rozier did pretty well starting. And being the first option on a bad team his stats should be good. He has a million dollar smile and is generally a fun and positive guy. I could see him putting on a good show for the fans to put some people in seats while they tank. And it's a good opportunity for Rozier to prove what he can do before going for his next contract and hopefully playing for a better team.

That and his ridiculous spaghetti with maple syrup or whatever meal should be a hit in the Deep South.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

This is way overstated. What has dried up are the actual free agents to spend that much money on. And others can get there easily enough with trades, renouncings, or other cap machinations.

Weren't they saying that Leonard requested that only Jeannie Buss and Magic Johnson be in the meeting? Who is Pelinka going to deliver a sales pitch to if he's not in the meeting?

This guy claims it's just Jeannie and possibly Pelinka.

Didn't magic say he wasn't allowed at a meeting in an official capacity?

Hmmm, I thought it had to be a 3 team deal with Kyrie included. I guess I'm wrong!

Horford is signing with Buffalo or Seattle?

Whoever it was yesterday in media saying "Minnesota has Wiggins trade ready to go" might have erred.

Might be trying to find Dieng and Teague into open space trades.

The L.A. teams are playing by the rules for once, and will wait for their local time for NBA Free Agency to begin, which is a few minutes away.

No Wanamaker news yet.

Teams are running out of other teams to dump salary on.

Minny for example won't be able to dump salary to open space for DLo.
Execution of S&T for Butler to either Heat/Rockets would be tricky if Philly doesn't want the players coming back to them and would rather have the cap space instead.

Lakers can sign a max player. Same for the clippers. The clippers might stick with gallinari if they don’t get a combination of butler and leonard.

Things getting very interesting.

Knicks are like the only team that may be able to shake some moves loose for other guys.

Terry’s deal was large enough to get the job done. We had to rescind al though
