We didn’t bring it up tho

And this is relevant to what I said how exactly? People here talking Celtics should pick up Cousins.

Yes, and I stated my opinion about the whole "Celtics should consider Cousins" talk here. And you are free to continue the Cousins discussion just like I stated my opinion. Not sure what you don't get.

How many centers that are not that great does the team need.

Get a guy who can push grant further down the depth chart and it will have far more impact.

Anyone who can push Grant or Edwards further down the depth chart is a win imo.

2021 Cousins sits at the three point line and chucks up three pointers. The Marcus Smart of centers as far as shot selection. Cousins is the last thing this Celtics team needs in my opinion.

Cousins was averaging 8.5 three attempts per 36 minutes while hitting on 33% in Houston this year. No thank you!

Aren't the frekaing Pistons gonna buy out Ellington? He's the guy I really want. He could help Nesmith with his confidence and teach him the ropes and help us this year. 10 points off the bench, .429 from 3. That's the guy I want. Outside of that, just start Bobby, hope that he doesn't break down, play Pritchard big time minutes and limit Smart's FGA(no idea if that will ever happen).
Good assessment:

Honestly I’m fine with the way the Celtics are right now for the rest of the season unless Olynyk or Horford becomes available which is extremely unlikely

Considering everything, I think OKC tries to trade Horfie for value, which I have no idea how they gonna get. His contract is massive, he's still good and a guy I'd love on our team, him and Bobby would be fantastic to watch, but that contract is bizarre. If Horfie gets bought out in the summer, I wouldn't be shocked if he comes back. We love him and I think he has love for Boston, too. He knows the system and we were inches from a Finals appearence with him as our starting center. Horfie/Brown/Tatum/Smart/Prichard/Fournier/Bobby with maybe Ellington and another solid vet should who can score 10-12 pts a game should be enough for us to make a legit Finals push in the East even with Nets fully healthy. With Horford, and our current roster, we'd be an elite defense, I mean easily top 3 and the offense should be flowing the way it used to. Horfie's passing was underrated and underappreciated, it made our offense FUN to watch.

It’s relevant because u said people are still talking about cousins like it’s a random name we can’t get over and came up with randomly. There was a report linking us to him. Maybe follow along or at least know what you are talking about.

That’s fine I don’t want him but he’s better than semi, kornet, tacko, waters, edwards, basically half the roster

Demarre Carrol
RHJ
Jeremy Lin
MKG
Allan Crabbe
GR3
Korver (teacher for Nesmith imo)

Coboclo (a bit of a joke, but he must be getting close to ready now.

I think this is it. Seems Danny thought he had the inside track on Drumond but here we are...I dont see how any off the street free agents help us get past the 4 seed at this point considering Covid protocols and no practices...I just dont see anyone earning significant minutes over what we have. Boogie would beat out Kornet and Wagner but tweaking the back end of the lineups isnt enough to get this team through the 2nd round.

Whats happening with Al is ridiculous. He's going to rot on OKCs bench for a year where he doesnt have many left. He should save his legacy, accept a reasonable buyout and establish a legacy back in Boston. I guess money can buy anything, but how much is enough at the cost of the city where you can hang your legacy?

Offseason deal????

Kemba, Tristan and Romeo to OKC

Horford and K. Williams to Boston

Creates a 19.7 million dollar TPE they can then use to trade for a resigned Lonzo Ball.
Resign Fournier

Ball/PP
Brown/Smart
Fournier/Nesmith
Tatum/K. Williams

If you think I didn't see that irrelevant, wanna be insider Evan Massey "expected to consider" report then you are mistaken. At this point I don't understand what you are even trying to prove here. Seems like you are looking for conflict just for the sake of it. You clearly are trying to connect the wrong dots. I'll leave it at that and not drag this out anymore.

They're doing us a favor in that deal. The best thing they get out of that deal is the opportunity to play an unknown (unless Romeo comes back and turns in a stellar playoff run) guy.

Try Kemba, Nesmith, an additional FRP and a SRP for those two. Gonna have to unload Thompson somewhere else.
and that's "MR. Irrelevant" to you!!

KOC article
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2021/3/29/22355881/miami-heat-trade-deadline-nba-offseason

“There’s still a real chance Beal stays in Washington for years to come, but as the Wizards rack up losses, teams like the Heat are waiting to pounce. In addition to Miami, multiple league sources say the Celtics, Knicks, and Pelicans are among the teams with interest in pursuing a deal for Beal.”

“Beal is admittedly “loyal to a fault,” and he hasn’t expressed a desire to leave Washington, the franchise that drafted him in 2012. But he can walk in free agency as soon as the summer of 2022. League sources say his decision to play through this season without making a trade request is as much a commitment to see things through this season with Russell Westbrook as it is about waiting until the worst of the coronavirus pandemic passes in the United States before making a life-altering decision.”

I'd give him a 50/50 shot to be moved this summer

Pels have more picks than anybody and can beat any offer IMO

My Celtics playoff rotation:

Top 8:

Walker, Pritchard
Fournier, Smart
Brown
Tatum
R Williams, Thompson

Spot minutes: Langford, Ojeleye, Nesmith, Edwards, G Williams, Wagner, Kornet, Fall, Waters

Celtics could really use a vet 2,3 or 4 who can come in and make shots.

Olynyk, A Bradley, Ellington who else?

Return to Boston Celtics
