They'll tell us about his effort and his defense.

He'll never see any meaningful minutes. Much like most of Brad's recent draftees.

Players don’t see meaningful minutes because we’ve been contending for a title.

We won’t be contending for a title next season.

They need a dog like Fleming.

Hugo is a dog. And he's a dog who knows how to play basketball - unlike Fleming.

He camt dribble and cant shoot and makes poor decisions.

I will like the pick better, as long as one of Raynaud, Fleming, or Kalk is the pick tomorrow.

Was that the sameJamie that barely played in the second half of this season?

Here's my profile on Celtics' 1st-Rd pick Hugo Gonzalez.

It's a home run swing on a 19-year-old prospect with high upside but limited tape.

Gonzalez's physical tools and playmaking flashes are enticing and worth trying to cultivate along w/ the parts of his game further behind.

Yeah, Joe is going to have to approach things differently next year. We'll see if he's capable of that.

After the first round, Raynaud, Fleming, Penda, Thiero, and Kalkbrenner are still undrafted.

He’s a pretty damn good role player who played in 66 games. Good energy guy. You get someone in the 20s especially in this type of draft that’s almost a best case scenario. Can’t fault them for going with Hugo knowing all of this.

He probably knows at least 1 of them will still be there at 32.

But maybe Hugo is the only wing he wants who's still on the board so he takes Hugo at 28, knowing some of those bigs will still be there at 32.

If the Hugo pick signals we are looking to get younger..I am hoping for Markovic at 32. That could be a nice dup. Hugo is more of a defender..Markovic more of an offensive player. 1 wing and 1 big. Both 19 yrs old. Both overseas players who play hard and have good basketball IQ.

Why would you believe that considering brad continues to surprise when he drafts.

Is "surprise" a euphemism for continues to suck?

Drafter Brad is not nearly as good as Trader Brad.

I give Brad credit for swinging on a guy. I've been saying we've been tipping our picks for years ... so Brad goes and picks a random name ... okay.
I give him credit.
I wish the whole draft was one night, but be back tomorrow

Yes! Fleming or Penda tomorrow please! That’d be a great draft. Thiero or Raynaud second tier for me.

Ooo Konan. Now there is the uncertainty of Celtics having to wait for one more pick tomorrow.
