Not only is Boston the best place for him, it's the safest. No ones going to give him grief besides OKC fans. More in casual fans will be confused more than anything.

It would be hilarious to see all the shocked people if it does happen. So many people can't even understand why we got a meeting

Exactly.

These casuals have not a clue about what we have and what we can offer.

All they see is the "superstar superteam" and can't shake it.

I think if he holds off until Monday, he'll leave OKC. He just met with them an hour ago. Would be awkward to turn right around and tell them he's leaving. It's like dumping a girlfriend -- you just keep putting it off.

There are many Wade's in the world. Forename and Surname.

so is okc officially out? is it between boston and gs now?

I don't know if that is true or not.

I don't think they are for sure out. Just what some reported. But nothing has leaked from anyone who would know.

I get that him going to GSW probably gives him the best chance at getting to the finals every year. I get that. The thing is it goes against everything that we've heard is important to him. It just doesn't make sense.

If you're not coming to Boston stay in OKC.

If he is leaving OKC, I don't think he puts off notifying OKC, but I think he gets some rest and puts some thought into his farewell statement before anything is announced publicly.

I will forever keep sending this to KD if he goes to the Warriors. This has to be a sign!

I'm starting to dislike Mike Conley for very unfair reasons and nothing due to anything that is his fault at all.

Id say that meeting was to tell him his intentions. The delay is probably looking over the announcement to make sure he doesn't come off like LeBron with "the decision".

An OKC fan said this has been his public plan for some time, regardless of where he goes.

Has anyone legitimate reported that?
