Imagine gallinari signs somewhere else.. that’s a lot of time lost and players. I’m just pissed they need upgrade their bench…

Aron Baynes on his way to recovery and an NBA comeback. We can always sign him.

He can suck Brogdon’s ****! Slip again in the washroom..

Holy ****

Shocked a pile of junk and a late FRP netted Brogdon. Great move.

Was Nesmith the pick from Sacramento (Tatum-Fultz trade) or the one from Memphis?

Seriously. We traded guys who played 0 combined meaningful minutes in the finals plus what will almost certainly be a late 1st rounder for Brogdon. HUUUUUUUGE win.

I would have hated trading Grant for Brogdon. The fact Philly just paid an ancient PJ Tucker a 3 year deal is proof those glue guy big men are tough to find.

It's a super valuable archetype IMO.

Tucker, Grant, Crowder. Those PF dudes who know their role, they accept their role. I call them 3&D&T, with T for toughness.

They're more than just 3&D guys cause they also bring that toughness, that attitude, that edge. Physicality. They'll box out, rebound, take charges, dive on the floor. Get under the opponent's skin. While also coming damn near close to defending 1-5 and hitting 3's.

I want to keep Grant here. He's gonna probably get better too, at age 23. He's improved a lot in each of his 3 yrs in the league.
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

Brogdon is very similar to Smart as a player, actually. Just a lot more injury prone.

Way better offensively, similar game but makes more of the shots he takes

Memphis, who overachieved that year. Everyone thought that pick would be way higher than 14.

No to bringing Smart off the bench. We had the best starting 5 in the league. Don't mess with that

Just to be clear on this, I too can confirm that the Celtics are trading for Malcom Brogdon. Is there anything more useless than these posts "confirming" something that everybody knows at this point?
