We finally signed a Center! :D I liked this kid last year before he opted back into college, pretty happy to have got him

Damn don’t know who he is but I found it hard to believe that someone this late was supposed to be drafted in the teens but that’s very true according to most mock drafts just 8 hours ago from cbs, sports illustrated, hoopshype, etc all had him from 12-15. Crazy

Anyone else not big fan of that quote? He's got motor issues, so I imagine this is the sort of thing that got him to fall to 27.

I love it, kid's ready to play wherever Brad wants. Stay focused big man.

Also, Van Gundy will have an orgasm on national TV if he sees a Smart/Ojeleye/Yabu/Williams/Baynes lineup

He had 20 and 14 in this game. Some great finishes and 2 nice 15-17 foot jumpers. He shot actually looked fluid.

I think best case scenario with his shot is hoping by the time he hits his 2nd contract his jumper can be similar to Baynes.

Nah, people who love money never bother me personally. I guess its because I can relate.

Bit of light reading, but this guy on reddit has done some regression analysis for defence in this draft class. Robert williams rates as the top 2 or 3 in DBPM for centers. Seems a bit of a questionable stat, but positive signs.

My interpretation is “I will do anything they ask me to do”, not a bad thing. About the money reference I can’t say anything, I don’t like it but is what this modern society is all about.

I don't know much about this guy, but "**** Los Angeles" sold it for me. Bring him in, he was born to bleed green.

Edit:
Just watched some videos. Alright I'm really sold. Looks like a solid big man to me, and his athleticism and rim protection fits well with our young guys.

Just watching highlights seems pretty clear this guy has a high probability of seeing a solid 10 year career in the NBA. Looks like a great addition to the team. Would've been nice to have fandangled our way to getting bamba without giving up much but this is a great second choice

This question may have already been answered somewhere in this thread but what more does a say, Mo Bamba give, that Bobby Williams doesn’t give or show so far?

Fire Danny, tomorrow

Honestly I'm just glad Grayson Allen wasn't drafted by us.

Even if he’s just out there for 10mins banging against bodies and giving Horford a break then he’s done his job for his rookie season.

Welcome to Boston kid.
