For anyone watching the local broadcast (Comcast), pre-game: does Sherrod add any value at all? He’s the most overrated and redundant sports commentator.

All he does is take time away from Tommy or Forsberg (one of the best long-time writers).

I mean, Kyrie gave an even clearer signal that he’s staying here to CSN, and Sherrod just muddles that

They finally got rid of Donny Marshall after the KG era. Sherrod is another change badly needed.

I got home 5 minutes ago and I have been singing that corny ass basketball song from SNL's roundball rock sketch. I'm def too pumped up for a preseason game too.

Sherrod has some energy, but he's not really a Celtics type.

Every time Tommy speaks, you learn something. Forsberg is great at building on conversations or contextualizing.

Sherrod adds zero value.
So many similarities to Donny Marshall in the studio during the KG era. Has this weird overconfidence and the commentary is sometimes all about him. Seems like a good guy. But the more you listen to him, the more you realize he has little substance

I just feel like, if you put a telegenic fan/ blogger/ poster with real curiosity and passion in his place, like one of you, it would make a difference. Or just give all the time that he sucks up to Abby

Ooof. The Hornets just ran a highlight package from their first 30 years. It included a Rambis buzzer beater in their first year, Mourning hitting a jumper to win their first playoff series and then Kemba becoming the franchises' all-time leading scorer. In 30 years that is all they could come up with?
