I would love Dudley for minimum being our wing from the bench. We need a player or two like him with all our young players. Similarly would love to see us signing Vince Carter for his last season.

Would love him for vet min. Veteran leadership is what we need.

Bring him home

Plus, Philly hates him so transitive property means I already love him.

One league exec who’s dealt with the Celtics even went as far as to tell the Herald he knows for a fact the club would have been willing to trade Irving for Walker over the past two years. If he’s got it right, it would indicate the Celts knew there were issues with Irving’s approach to leadership and general ability to help cool the fires of young players whose image may have surpassed their actual abilities following the 2018 conference finals run.

Yeah, that's complete bull lol. No one's buying that. Trading Kyrie for Kemba straight up would have been an absurd move before we knew for a fact he was gone. This is like when every GM comes out after the draft and says they got the guy they wanted all along.

I'd be with you if it was anyone other than Bulpett, but dude is not the type to make **** up. Yeah he is definitely a mouthpiece, but not in that way.

Kyrie is definitely the better player, but maybe they knew how weird and unpredictable he is.

There are a ton of FA bigs. I didn’t even realize how many until I checked the FA list.

We will be able to sign a big like Noah, Lopez, etc. for the MLE. Not even worried about it.

A little bummed about possibly not getting capela. I really wanted him and I think he is a little underrated here. That being said, do I want to trade brown or smart for him? Nah. I don't want him that much.

I don't doubt Bulputt heard that. I doubt the dude who apparently "knows for a fact"

Kemba is not a star. He is all star. Let us stop treating him like he is a star. You people got your wish, kyrie is likely gone. Remember leadership, or so called leadership doesn't win games. Talent, and stars is what does.

Afam wrote:Kemba is not enough. This signing would be to put fans in the seat, money/merchandise, keep the team somewhat. There has to be another move to follow. You can't waste all your cap space on one player.

Think of the Kemba signing like this.

Kemba = Ray Allen

Now you need a KG. How that gets done with limited cap space i don't know, and you would have to include Jayson Tatum in the deal.

You have made your point 1000 times. However I don’t think “You People” got their wish. Otherwise I wouldn’t be responding to this.

Sure. Kyrie couldn’t even get the Celtics as far as IT did or Rozier did. Think about that for a few minutes

Noah was a huge fan of KG at one point in time, gotta jump at joining the Cs. Actually looked pretty good last year.

Kemba was 3rd team all nba, that's a star.

This team got knocked out in the 2nd round with Kyrie. So remember that when you say this team with Kemba is a 2nd round team.

With no Horford on this roster, I prefer Kemba because he's not a miserable prick and is extremely durable.

They can still a quote a star.

Relax with making the same post over and over.

Yes the celtics are going to be competitive with kemba, but that is about it. All the cap space gone for one player. It is about waiting for the next star to be available and they will blow it just like AD. The only star player i see being available is James Harden and will even want to come to boston.

Bucks weren't going to bring him back, but I'm surprised he didn't stick around in the NBA. Someone would've picked him up for at least the full MLE.

You should at least wait until July for the annual meltdown
