We need a power forward desparately.
I would shop Semi and cash or pick for DJ Wilson (Bucks) or Christian Wood (Detroit)
2 young, big and strong power forwards who can really ball when given opportunity.

I favor a bigger trade with Orlando: Hayward/Kanter/pick for Vucevic/Isaac or Hayward/Wannamaker for Gordon/Bamba.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

I dont think you get those returns from OKC, but I would be all over Gordon and Bamba.
I would give multiple picks for it as well.
Hayward, Langford, Poirier, Bucks Pick, protected Boston pick
for
Gordon and Bamba
Kemba/Edwards/Wannamaker/Waters
Brown/Smart
Tatum/Semi
Gordon/GWilliams/Theis
Bamba/RW3/Tacko
Would need to convert Wannamaker/Theis into a legit SF off the bench but I love that team.

I have to imagine that any deal involving AG would start with a base of Smart and Langford. They really, really like the guy and would want at least one potential long term starter in return.

Wait the NBA TV games aren’t even in HD?!?!
You mean NBA League Pass, right? And no, they haven't all been consistently in HD, and the signal still drops pretty often when you're streaming.
NBA league pass is always in 1080P on directv. Looks amazing. Dtv is also getting more and more games in 4k. Tonights football game is in 4k.

Fast forward one year:
We need a power forward desperately.
I would shop DJ WIlson and a pick for Daniel Theis, who is really balling out for Portland.

I dont know about that. I am not sure Theis is a high end potential PF, he plays best as a small center. But maybe

Having a second stream on 8 second delay is an unbelievable game changer, definitely will do this more often. To have constant realtime instant replay gives so much immediate context on every play that you're just never going to fully see the first time.

Big fan of Wood. I was surprised we didn’t go for him considering he went so late in free agency.

I would expect with him buried the cost would be cheap.

Hayward, Semi, CJ Miles, Milwaukee pick, 2020 Brooklyn 2nd rounder and Washington 2021 second rounder to OKC
Denis Schroeder to Washington
Bertrans and Adams to Boston.
Whys?
OKC sheds over 5 mill in salary, (they can drop Semi for more savings) add another first rounder and a couple of seconds. (If deal not sweet enough could up the pick to Bostons own)
Washington is in dire need of a PG, Schroeder will pair nicely with Beal.
Boston needs a front court. Adams is the size and defense needed and Bertans can be a starting PF with his floor spacing ability and being larger than Tatum. Smart moves to bench and runs the offense from the SG spot with Edwards as a score first PG.
Kemba/Edwards/Wannamaker/Waters
Brown/Smart
Tatum/Green/Langford
Bertans/GWilliams/Theis
Adams/Kanter/RWilliams
Theis and Wannamaker become trade bait later in season in an effort to secure a higher quality backup SF.

All the more reason to trade him! We’ll get the max return on some crap mid-tier player.
Kidding, not trading this dude. We’re gonna guilt him into a contract restructure and he’ll be our Lou Williams.

Re: Celtics General Regular Season Thread 2019-20, Pt1: aka, Team "Fresh Start"
So once again we see that post scorers (in this case Kanter) may be able to defend fellow post scorers (Embiid) even if they aren't able to defend much else. That makes sense if we assume that a lot of post scoring is battling for position for the chance to make a move.
Framing it that way leads to an offbeat analogy: A certain outstanding goal-line-only receiving-almost-only TE got the gig because he was so good at keeping opposing goal-line TEs from releasing into their routes. (Linebacker Mike Vrabel was so good as a very part-time TE that he set some obscure receiving records. But every reception in his entire career was a 1-yard touchdown pass.)
