In the lab...thinking of trade scenarios? Morris seems to give them depth at the 4 in case of a trade

We signed 3 rookies this year, Williams last. Adding another 3 first, that's 7 youngsters?? Come on Danny

If by 'hoarding' you mean keeping one per year, cool. But if you're under the impression we're still sitting on a ton of them, you're mistaken.

As it currently stands, the BOS and ATL 2nds will not convey, leaving only the lesser of BRK/NYK this year.

Do you know there is 1 first round per draft and we have 3 next year and that makes 4 selections? 4 selections for a team who needs to consolidate talent because we need a starter C and good bench players. Not to mention Ainge's mediocre results with second rounds.

Does the Warriors even have 5 players left to put on the floor?

In the past, I've wondered why teams haven't taken the approach:
-- We have a firm deal.
-- We'll keep talking to other teams to see if we can, by unanimous consent, modify our firm deal to include them too.

This season that finally seems to be the norm.

I do know that. I was responding to the posts talking about "hording 2nd rounders".

As it stands we're holding #17, #26, #30, and #46.

We were likely never get KAT anyway so if the Wolves acquiring Russell kills those thoughts, so be it!

Towns the dream of getting a fake star and the leader of a lottery team. Sounds exciting.

There are a few 2nd-round picks who hit really big, like Jokic or Marc Gasol (who was a key trade piece for the team that first drafted him). Ainge hasn't had one of those. But BBD, Powe, Semi and so on give him a decent 2nd-round track record even so.

I do agree that those successes haven't been all that important ... and by the way, Ainge has been pretty free to trade his 2nd-round picks away.
