I’ve tried to separate how I feel about Jaylen the person, and Jaylen the player. He plays his ass off, he doesn’t try to be selfish, he is an incredible role model and I’m proud to root for him.

But....his early season start was clearly propped up by an impossible to maintain burner from the field. And he just does not know how to play defense with a scheme. I get why Towns scares people, but I think his talent is worth the risk.

NBA tv just showed the Celtics-Kings game last year where they won by a point off a Smart last shot floater that missed.

Hope the guys don't put us in the same situation today.

Not always.

But the exceptions are rare enough to be plausibly blamed on exhaustion, knee, etc.

My biggest fear with KAT is that NYK has basically held a press conference that they’ll be chasing him as soon as they can.

Wasn't the G-League season something like 12 games, in a bubble, which would preclude guys moving freely between the two leagues?
