Prince might be THE most talented musician in modern history so him. He's the far superior singer, writer, dancer and front man and he's a world class guitarist as well. 'Purple Rain' is a 10/10 and one of the very few perfect albums ever made.

I agree with what you say in principle …..that said, I’d prefer to listen to Hendrix’ music 99 days out of a 100…..and I listen to Prince.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Hendrix for me for sure. I appreciate Prince's talent, but I could never really get into his music. I used to listen to Hendrix a fair bit as a kid, not as much as I got older though.

I grew up on Prince. His music is my soundtrack. Brilliant musician and writer. Plays all the instruments. The theatricality. He's the lovechild of James Brown and Hendrix. Without Hendrix, there is no Prince. And his cover of the Star-Spangled Banner was epic. Foxy Lady is another clinic.

It really is. Was just listening to the album after watching the movie and even the stuff that didn't get major play as popular singles off that album still bang. Take me With U and particularly Baby I'm A Star just get me rockin.

And if you've never heard Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters cover of Darling Nikki it's tremendous. Don't know what Prince thought of it but it really is an homage to the original which was also similarly great.

On top of being one of the best rock bands of the last two decades, the Foo Fighters are without a doubt the greatest cover band that ever existed.

Speaking of Prince, he and Bob Dylan are the two artists I can barely listen to, but whose songs I really enjoy when performed by others. I have the highest possible respect for Prince as a person -- he did an incredible amount of philanthropic work in the background, no publicity at all. Tiny man with a huge heart.

I'm excited to get into that but I noticed the episodes are pretty short and decided to wait for it all to come out.

Maxine clearly believed in the economy of space. Not much of a mover-arounder I guess. She danced a hole in that one spot though. I feel like this song was featured heavy in a movie soundtrack that I of course can't remember right now.

Loving the new chili peppers album. The funk in this Bella is nasty. Reminds me of some of the older tunes like Walkabout, Aeroplane and If You Have to Ask.

My cigarette is a cool change of pace song. Hypnotic feeling

Whole album is worth a listen.

I really enjoyed Rings of Power. Can't wait for the next season.

And knowing there are so many people crying about it I think made me enjoy it even more.
