There's an actual metric called Standard Deviation that would tell you how consistent a player is, forget about thresholds

You are missing the point of the discussion but carry on.
No need to be pedantic when the idea of consistency has already been briefed on earlier.

I'm just giving you the mathematical way to calculate consistency. If you feel attacked or think that's pedantic then that's some inner checking you need to do

And I'm just reminding you that the discussion clearly shows everyone already knew the mathematical way to calculate/conceive of consistency but moved on from that pointless pedantism.
If you have nothing of value to add, why bother?

Not gonna derail the thread further, thanks for reminding me why I have been ignoring you since you showed up around

Here's a fun little tip. The next time you want to "ignore," don't make 3-4 posts announcing that you're ignoring.

I think we all clearly saw that Jaylen in particular is not nearly as good as Kawhi and George when healthy. Heck, Tatum isn't either tbh, at least not Kawhi when he's fully healthy and if he's better than George it's miniscule.

Mazzu again gave Jaylen a million ball screen reps to start the game. They weren't pretty but it's a learning process. Jaylen doesn't have to be Steve Nash out of the pick and roll, just not turn it over.

In reality with whom are we replacing Jaylen Brown?

May as well support the player on your team instead of carrying on with this tired narrative. Try it I dare you.

What a weird response. You are tired of people saying that Jaylen Brown is being given on ball reps?

sounds like he wants complete acquiescence. Jaylen is on our team so stop discussing his negatives and accept him as the player he is. Don't worry about his potential improvements, impending FA or return in a trade. Resistance is futile. Why do we even have player threads? We didn't have SGs before Jaylen Brown. We didn't just draft one in Begarin or trade for a couple in Brogdon and White. Nobody can replace Jaylen on our team, in the draft or around the league.

From both lists, here is the revised list of those same people who would be WILLING to play second fiddle to Tatum and not insist on being the man:
Jesus
Maybe Naismith, he seemed pretty chill (he was Canadian after all)

Is it too soon to make a Jesus post up joke? It's been 2000 years.

If you want to waste time and energy regurgitating the same old crap, good go ahead, but at least come up with some new material to make it worth a read.

Are you illiterate? Do you just kind of guess what the little symbols say and bang your clammy hands on the keyboard hoping you'll make sentences? How do you get "regurgitating the same old crap" from "Jaylen Brown getting on ball reps" if you are capable of reading? You people find new ways to amaze me every day.

At least pay attention before I get attacks. I've stated that he's a top 20-30ish player. What is the problem?

I accept I'm biased but it's hard not to appreciate the guy, despite his obvious short-comings, when he brought himself from this:

(this are just highlights of his rookie season, no lowlights or regular plays, just watch the handle, the shot, etc..)

To this:

(your regular tuesday againt LeBron on a b2b)

Season FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% eFG% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS
2016-17 2.5 5.4 .454 0.6 1.7 .341 1.9 3.7 .507 .508 1.1 1.6 .685 0.6 2.2 2.8 0.8 0.4 0.2 0.9 1.8 6.6
2022-23 10.0 19.8 .503 2.4 6.9 .342 7.6 12.9 .589 .563 4.3 5.3 .810 1.0 6.3 7.3 3.6 1.1 0.4 3.0 2.7 26.6
