I think our major mistake was letting Mobley get off, not because he was doing his thing, but because DM could save his energy for the 2nd half. I feel this about most star-superstar players, if they go off in the first half, they will likely slow down A LOT in the 2nd half (when the game is within reach). You never want those guys to have it easy in the first half. I used to say this so much about LBJ. Then when I heard someone say LBJ or Kobe talked to them about pace and not trying to do it all right away, I felt vindicated all those years saying it on here. Make them work early, the body can only do so much before it wears down! I'd rather DM be exhausted early than Mobley, Mitchell is what they NEED on offense to win, while Mobley does it as a bonus. IMO we would have fared better if DM did what Mobley was early, he pushes their needle more. We have to make him work on both ends in game 3. Stop him and the others will follow most of the time. That's why we kept it close in the first half (bad), he did his work in the 2nd half and it was over from there.
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)
