Why did he pull Siakam and others so early in 4th

He was trying to pull something off. He thought Joe would pull his starters as well, and with enough time, can actually make a run against our bench. It was laughable actually.

Happy for the net rating.. Sheesh, I was worried.
Good assessment:

Currently 3rd behind 96 Bulls and 17 Warriors at 11.7, per statmuse. I know, I know, no one was asking.

If Dallas comes through, we're making 2nd and a title. Best team ever? Jaylen Brown the new MJ? 8-) I think so...

This is the 4th straight game where the Pacers shot 50% or higher.

That shooting % is coming down sooner than later.

Not necessarily. They have only 2 more playoff games remaining before next year.

It's just not sustainable.

I'll be proven wrong if they once again shoot 50% or higher in Game 3.

Imagine the **** we'll get if we win a title with the best players on every team we faced being injured lol.

Who gives a ****

Us consistently going deep in the East makes people forget the injury issues we’ve had over the years.

Hayward’s ankle, Kyrie’s knee, Kemba’s knee, Rob’s knee, I could go on….

And if want to go back further KG’s knee injury in 2009 cost us a chip either in 2009 or 2010 (wasn’t the same player the next season).

I agree. I don’t give a damn if we play gleague players in the finals due to injuries. Nobody questioned the warriors 1st ring against an injured KLove and Kyrie in the finals. Same with the Raptors ring against an injured KD and Klay for the warriors. Its hard to win it all. You have to be good, lucky and healthy. Plus its not like KP is some scrub that means nothing for us. **** those asterisks. Just win and give them all the finger haha

If Hali is absent or hobbled, that obviously won't help them.

True.

But even if Hali plays, insane shooting like that comes crashing back to Earth sooner or later.

It was only last season that Caleb Martin shot like Steph against the Cs in the ECF.

But in the finals, against Denver, Caleb was the normal Caleb.

Brown continues his excellent playoff run. Jrue really stepping up as well.

JB already has a foot in the door of the east finals MVP.

Brown smokes it and Holiday gets a puff too.

Pritch was steady as was White and loved the energy Brissett brought when Joe had a brain fart and put him in the game.

Nice to see Kirk Cousins...I mean Tatum, show up in the second half.

Now we find out if they can focus defensively long enough to complete a sweep.

Pacers traded Malcolm Brogdon to the Celtics in July 1, 2022. Brogdon was the main piece that got us Jrue Holiday. In July 2022, Bird then stepped down as advisor of the Pacers, taking a break for a year.

Pacers took Siakam, who was killing the Cs, out with more than 9 minutes left in the game. Carlisle never brought him back in the game even when the deficit got down to 13 and just elected to play their bench to finish the game. Myles Turner sat out the entire 4th.

Celtics have to invite these two for the duck boat parade (no such thing as a jinx, THIS WILL HAPPEN, I am manifesting it!):

Our All-Defense starting backcourt is averaging 40.5 ppg, 10 rpg, 16.5 apg, 4 stocks per game on 57/50/100 splits for the ECF.

I feel bad for Haliburton, but no doubt in my mind that making him work this much on defense contributed to the aggravation of his hamstring injury.

Also, Hauser WAS NOT useless. He didn't make shots but he helped us win the game.

I don't recall Jaylen ever making awesome use of his hang time so many times in the same game.

And by the way:

.6 points/shot from 3
Slightly under that from 2, but generating a number of FTs as well.
