Hear me out. A team with Haliburton and Siakam as their best players is going to move the ball better than a team lead by Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown regardless of who the coach is.
Ugh..

So basically what you are saying is due to Boston having the better 2 players we should move the ball less and revert to iso hero basketball??

No what I'm saying is what I wrote. That Haliburton/Siakam is a more unselfish/better passing duo than Tatum/Brown. But if you want to believe that it's the coach's fault that Jaylen Brown doesn't pass like Tyrese Haliburton be my guest.

Well, at this point it might all be moot.. If tatum is indeed injured with the worst case scenario, then I expect a complete rebuild.

Joe lost 3 games in this series after having leads of 15 points or more in the 2nd half. I want a new coach.

Celtics have led like 90% of this series and have 1 win and 3 losses to show for it. Huge part of that is coaching (or lack thereof)

That said if Tatum is out next year, why bother with a new coach - likely headed for same result anyway

That statement alone screams massive evidence against the coach who is quite marginal at best and possibly horrible. But I literally may not make another comment on the coach. It doesn't really matter now. All the focus is what we will do this off season.

Leads don’t even mean anything in the NBA these days.

I don’t think Joe’s had a great series but it’s a thing in the NBA these days to quickly give up leads.

OKC in several games against Denver has done the same. Cleveland did too.

I think Joe has really struggled to get creative considering Brown is hobbled and Porzingis is a complete zero.

Anyone defending Joe at this point also needs to be fired this offseason. This guy is a complete joke and cost us at least one additional championship.

Joe can help with the tanking next season.

So don't get rid of him just yet because with no Tatum and a few of the starters, Cs will be a lottery team.

Joe didn't help at all. But he wasn't the reason we aren't repeating, he is part of the reasons.

1. Jrue's game took a big dive this season. He was a huge factor in last year's championship drive. This year, he looked gassed and old.

2. Relying on Al has your only decent big at 38 years of age was a big issue. We knew we couldn't count on KP. It's not even a health issue as much with his as he really struggles when teams play physical with him. It was Joe's fault for lot counting on Tillman this season and only counting on Queta from time to time. Kornet is fun to watch in the regular season, but he isn't a playoff season. The rough play takes him out of his game, just it does with KP.

3. Brown. When he hurt his knee near the end of the season and when that knee didn't get better, Boston has no chance. You take a hurt Brown, an again Al and a declining Jrue in the playoffs with an ineffective KP, Boston was done.

So for most of the year I was the one who stood the tallest in my opinion, that joe is not a good coach and yet most of the year I took the heat..

Now that this season seems to be ending. I see many posters making the same claim about joe..

I have some mixed feelings on this. Where were you guys when I was making the same statements and trying to provide evidence to support my theory??

Why does it take an abysmal playoff Series for people to realize Joe has so many flaws?

Whatever .. I am a coach hater apparently. And yet I now consider myself with three wins with zero losses..

Most of this season, we were considered contenders, and yet this was the least Enjoyable season, I can remember considering of how much success was expected.

I wish I can truly enjoy watching a team play. And play the right way, hopefully that will come sometime in the future.

The disrecpted directed towards Joe needs to continue, terrible coach, won last year due to a pathetic path towards the final.

A team this talented shouldnt play such lousy offense.

Joe is a one trick pony.

Shoot threes and be tought.

That is not good enough in such a nuanced game. Joe HAS TO BE FIRED.

and Brown HAS TO BE TRADED.

Terrible coaching by Joe in entire series, outside of game 3.

We should be up 3-1 instead of being down 1-3. Joe was a big reason why we lost those 3 games. Last season he got a pass because we won a title on an easy road to the finals.

Joe is a likeable guy and seems like a really good person. But this organization can't overlook probably the the worst coaching playoff series in Celtics history. As much as I felt Doc Rivers was a horrible coach, Joe reached his level.

Joe never should have been named interim head coach in the first place. Wasn't ready then and still isn't now. Brad personally liking him is not enough.

The NBA is a slow death going towards the lottery. Need to shake crap up now.
