Denver would mop the floor with us. At least this current version of the Celtics. Last years had a chance..this shambles **** we are watching has no shot. This team needs to get it’s **** together real quick or Cancun is coming up real fast.

JT won't change his game. OG really bothering him on defense as he is stronger and pushes JT at will, so JT settles for bad 3s
JB should get more credit. When he plays bully ball, he can take anyone from NY to the basket (and he's done it in game 2 - just stoped for some reason). Just stop taking those 3s

I would love the team to play faster and attack before NY settles, but this is wishful thinking as we are not built for this kind of BBall

PnR switch, take KAT or Brunson to the basket, if they double- pass.

Outside of Brown ealry in game two, you haven’t really been able to get to the basket against Brunson even when you have isolated him. He’s sliding his feet so well that he’s cutting the Jays off and he’s so strong that he’s forcing them to settle for jumpers after beating them to the spot.

Karl’s weakness also isn’t his one on one d in space, it’s his fouling as a rim protector and how he gets lost when he has to make decisions defending the pnr against a real lob threat, especially when there’s a shooter in the corner to confuse him even more…no KP really bails us out because of that.

But just running PnRs to force us to switch and then iso’ing, is playing right into the things Brunson & Towns aren’t actually bad at defensively…even when they don’t have Mitch behind them.

True, it's on Tatum! He did well during the regular season, he's not doing good right now. And I don't care if his wrist is injured or not, he got a 300+ mil contract.

Hondo, Larry & Truth teams would sometimes lose - but would NEVER allow that to have happened - all of them were tough as nails mother ****.
We should have done a 3 peat in 08, 09 & 10 - & was very very disappointed - but we lost KG in 2/2009 as Paul’s partner after dominating the NBA 3/4 of the RS in 09 & played a bad G7 Finals VS Kobe in 10. But this is different - surreal & almost unimaginable!
